Strasburg Creamery, Café, and Country Store

Living within walking distance of the Creamery I was excited to see what the new owners had done with it. It's beautiful inside! The flavors and offerings are unique and delicious. But what I was most impressed with is their handling of allergies. With a child recently diagnosed with a peanut allergy It's been difficult to feel safe taking them to eat anywhere, especially ice cream. They have allergen information listed for each flavor and the staff took special precaution to make sure there was no cross contamination. It means so much to have a local ice cream shop I can feel comfortable taking my child to!

The Strasburg Creamery was such a special place from my childhood, and I’m so grateful it’s been brought back to life! We hadn’t been in years, but since the local families reopened it, we’ve already been three times in just two weeks—it’s officially our new go-to spot. The service is outstanding—friendly, smiling faces every time we visit. The ice cream is truly top quality, made with real ingredients and none of the extra junk, which makes it a treat I feel good about giving my kids. Every flavor we’ve tried has been excellent! ( I especially love the meadow tea sorbet!) We love supporting the sweet families behind the revival and can’t wait to see what they do with the rest of the property. Thank you for breathing new life into such a nostalgic place!

The staff was very friendly and attentive, unfortunately they have changed all the flavors without keeping any of the traditional ones. Since they didn't have Black Raspberry (my go to on a waffle cone) I thought I would try just a plain Strawberry which again, they didn't carry. Pricing was high but I expect that in a touristy area like Strasburg. Sadly with out the traditional flavors I won't be visiting very often.

Although I liked the old time decor the updated Strasburg Creamery was bright and cheerful, and employees were great and moved the line along quickly. The ice cream was yummy and they had neat flavors. I had the peanut butter cup and it had large hunks of candy in the ice cream! Can’t wait to see the gift shop in back when it opens. Great place to take your family with seating indoors , out front and in the back of building.

The ice cream and choices for different kinds of ice cream were very good. I got carrot cake which tasted like the real thing. They also offer sorbet. I was disappointed that they didn’t offer sundaes. I got a sundae but it was chocolate syrup not hot fudge and no whipped cream. The service was great.

Amazing ice cream and fantastic service!! So happy to have the Strasburg creamery back and better than ever!!
