So I had a party of 8 for my birthday. We came specifically for the pasta at your table on Wed. We left very very disappointed ?First let me say I've been going to momentos for 20 years, ever since they were in their old location where pizza one is now. I always liked their pizza and dishes that are pizzeria standards, like chicken francaise or penne vodka etc.Then they moved to the old Ned's on Ninth location, and things sort of changed. They started separating their two menus and was trying to do an upscale restaurant and keep their pizzeria going as well.I know chef Nicola is said to be an accomplished chef. The website says he has trained all over the world, been on TV etc.And here we are, a table of 8, spending no less then $40 a person at his restaurant and he doesn't even say hello when he pulls the cart up to the table to make the pasta!!!!! Doesn't introduce himself, doesn't ask even who's birthday might be????This is how you treat your customers???Ok, so he's not personable, I can get over that. Then he makes the pasta, adds boiled chicken, yes I kid you not, it was not grilled chicken, it was not sliced in a nice presentation..it was two pieces of boiled chicken with what seemed liked a slimy coating on it.He should be ashamed of himself to let something like that out to a customers plate at a restaurant with a chef of his caliber. He put it on the plate, so he cant blame his staff...I bet his worst helper in the kitchen would know better.We will never go there again unfortunately. I'm not sure chef Nicola would even care, because he didn't seen to care about us when we were customers...why care if we never come back.Our waiter was very nice. Chef you should take a lesson from him on how to make customers feel welcome in your restaurant.

First dinner date, exceptional service Jessica was wonderful , I would recommend asking for her. The atmosphere is elegant and intimate, warm. As always the food is delicious

Cheese wheel was fantastic. Chicken that we ordered with the cheese wheel was boiled garbage, for the price it should have been grilled, with seasoning, and presentation was terrible. For a chef of his caliber he should respect his ingredients. For a world renowned chef he should be ashamed to give a party of 8 a meal like this.

It's difficult to find a good restaurant in the Poconos. I loved going to Momentos however, the past two times there my food was warm, not hot. I still gave them a third try. It wasn't busy either. But I enjoy a long dinner with friends so the timing was okay. I was in the restaurant business for 28 years and realize most chefs over salt, especially if they smoke. But bottom line I am done spending hundreds of dollars leaving thinking "Okay, everyone has a off night here and there",but tonight marked three times in a row that i was served warm food, should be hot! The last time I had the "three" scallops appetizer and they were absolutely cold! (And I didn't order sushi! Lol) In summation, it looks like I won't be back as I gave it three more chances after being there many times. But three fails in a row is enough for me to cross it off as another Pocono disappointment.Oh well.....

Planned the weekend getaway for my bf’s birthday in this town, sooooo happy to find this amazing restaurant for his big day.The atmosphere was upscale but very family friendly. Service was great even though it was very busy on a Saturday night. The server tried her best to check with us if everything went OK, I saw her kept running back and forth to the kitchen, and I’m sure the kitchen was super busy as well.Food: they have a great selection of appetizers and we seriously wanted to try all of them, we ordered tonight’s special: salmon tartar. Escargot, seared scallops, foie gras & fried calamari.Salmon tartar: love the sauce, very refreshing and it matched with the salmon so well, it comes with the crispy toasts, it gave the crunchiness from the soft salmon texture.Escargot: it wrapped inside the puff, I personally think it’s too much of the puff or not enough escargot inside. I barely tasted the escargot, I would prefer the traditional escargot dish just with garlic butter.Seared scallops: top notch! Perfectly cooked and seasoned, well done dish! Must have!Foie gras: OMG, full of favors, a lot of favors in a bite that melt in your mouth. Another Must have!Fried calamari : I love they have fried zucchini and jalapeños in it to balance out the texture from the calamari .Main entrees we had risotto, monk fish and chicken masala. Great portion. All main were a bit too salty for us, but still tasted good and we enjoyed them.All of the dishes had great presentation which I enjoyed them and think it’s important.I reserved the table online and wrote down it’s for my bf birthday celebration, they did not forget and bring out the panna cotta at the end with a candle and birthday song. Thank you for the wonderful dinner experience.Kid-friendliness: We came with 3 kids and didn’t have any problems. The server liked my youngest and kept complimenting him.

I will always recommend coming here. It's my absolute favorite place in the area. Any excuse to celebrate something and I will be here. The food, drinks, and service has never disappointed.

Fantastic meal. The staff went above and beyond to make our night enjoyable. Specialty cocktails were sooo good! Ran into old friends and closed the place down at the bar. Staff never said a word that everyone else had gone. Truly stellar.

Momoento is an excellent family restaurant. The food is delicious, and you can tell everything is prepared from scratch. The entire staff is very friendly. We had a great time. Highly recommend!
