Mountain View Vineyard, Winery, Brewery & Distillery

This place needs to plan staff accordingly. Kitchen is always too behind to serve ALL guests. Outdoor bars/kitchens are open sporadically because they never have enough staff. Additionally, we were denied food service on the patio despite 1. receiving service on the patio at multiple other visits and 2. observing other guests receiving food service on the patio after we were told that its not allowed. Show some consistency and do better...until then, there's always plenty of other wineries in our area with much better wine and service.

Noah has been great! I’ve had him a handful of times and love him

Would have been 5 stars but there is a fly and bee issue on the deck and a fly issue indoors.

Suggestion: ceiling fans indoors and outdoors to create currents and disrupt the flying insects. During our visit between 1 pm and 2 pm we saw 7 other parties move from outside to inside to escape the bees and flies. It was a gorgeous day and the food, wine, and service are outstanding. It just wasn't as nice inside but we had to escape like the 7 other tables.

We visited last year and returned this year hoping for a leisurely afternoon on a gorgeous day sipping wine on the lovely patio. While the inside is very nice, and air-conditioned, we would have preferred to be outside. We might have ordered more if it was comfortable to linger.

Try the taste of Italy flatbread, the charcuterie tray and the summer salad. All excellently prepared.

The servers worked as a team and our server, Amber, was friendly. Professional, and efficient.

There is a great outside play area for kids, too.

Kim was VERY informative, quick and professionally witty. Her lai's we saying ALOHA (HI), ALOHA (BYE) & ALOHA (HI again). It was a musical chair thing... ty Kim

My family and I visited for the first time and absolutely loved it. We were on vacation from Wisconsin and decided to try this winery. My mom and I shared the Raspberry wine and my dad had a martini which we all enjoyed. The waiter was very nice and personable and always made sure we had everything we needed. The view was breathtaking as well! We will definitely remember this and when we come back to PA, we will make a stop here again.

Very expensive drinks

We had the most amazing time at Mountain View Vineyard in the Poconos! The views are stunning, the wine and cocktails are top-notch (don’t skip the frozen rosé!), and there’s plenty of space to spread out. Bonus: they have a kids’ playground, so parents can actually sip and relax.

Between the cozy seating, and family-friendly setup, this place is an absolute gem. P.S try the wine flight with the Niagara. Can’t wait to go back!

I absolutely loved Mountain View Vineyards! The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing, and the views were stunning. The food was delicious — flavorful, and perfectly paired with their wines. It’s a great spot to unwind, enjoy good company, and treat yourself to a great meal and drink. I’ll definitely be coming back!

View was nice. Server seemed cranky and didn’t take time to describe the wine. She stood behind my chair while she took the table’s order and kept hitting me in the head with her tray. I had to hunch forward over the table to keep from getting knocked into. Server said service was slow because we were one of several groups. I got the feeling that they overbooked. I did not care for the food. I think if i were to do it again, we would enjoy the drinks outside and bring our own food.

Mountain View Vineyard was our FIRST venue partner back in 2021 and is now is one of our most popular picnic venues in the Poconos - understandably! It not only has gorgeous views, delicious wine and food, but the staff is always incredible! 100% recommend to visit them [+ consider booking a luxury picnic with us at this location!]

Overall a pleasant experience. Originally had outside seating but we would have been sitting in direct view of the sun and would have made dinner unpleasant. Some proper light filtering shades may have helped but had to move inside, so missed the nice views and live music. Staff was very friendly and accommodated a large group.

On my first trip to the poconos, this place was a top highlight! I enjoyed their semi sweet white wine and even walked out with a bottle.

Our dog was allowed to sit with us and the food was fresh and delicious.
