So my husband and I found this place on Google we were searching soul food and we found SOUL FOOD CHESS HOUSE ‼️ We absolutely loved it ‼️❤️❤️❤️ the food here is authentic the best Soul food 😋 around 💯💥💥. The catfish was cooked and seasoned to perfection 🥰 the macaroni and cheese was delicious also the yams cabbage was great as well. The atmosphere was great loved the vibe also loved the choice of music 🎶 🎵 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!...
Soul Food Chess House is a solid restaurant to get good soul food. My meal was 22$ and it included, 4 big crispy fried wings (seasoned very well, chicken delicious), and two sides. For my sides I chose their Mac and cheese and cornbread. Though I wished the mac & cheese was a little bit more creamy I’m sure if I had it at the restaurant it would have been creamy (ordered takeout). Nonetheless it was good Mac and cheese.
