Buckhorn Icecream

Best hidden little gem in the hills. There's always very friendly, sweet young ladies working here and the ice cream is so good. Good variety to choose from and large portions (be mindful when ordering). They also have pup cups which our dogs really enjoyed!
I grew up on a farm just a couple miles from this ice cream stand and we always enjoyed riding bikes up and getting a cold treat after baling hay, that quite a few years ago and it's still going! They must be doing something right.

Nice to return to an old favorite! I used to live in the area but relocated to California- I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved Buckhorn Ice Cream! Not only do they offer a wide variety of delicious flavors, but the staff are incredibly friendly, patient, and genuinely care about your experience. You can tell they take pride in their service and products.

I especially appreciated the health-conscious options — it’s not easy to find a spot that balances indulgence with better-for-you ingredients. I ended up coming back twice just for the Lemon Chillo — it was that good! Light, refreshing, and perfectly tart.

Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. Great flavors, wonderful people, and a place that makes you feel good inside and out.

Excellent place

Soupy or partially melted hand dipped ice cream on many occasions. Bad set up for the drive thru. This was how my hand dipped ice cream looked last time I went. Had to take it home and put it in the freezer for a few hours before it could be eaten. That was after waiting in the drive thru for 40 minutes. Very disappointing.

totally grimy place. would rather die than ever eat ice cream here again. terrible service, needs new management staff IMMEDIATELY.

The buckhorn is great! Always have great service but my son will only go if “Noah” is working. Best customer service 🙂

Great little ice cream drive up stand (or drive through, that's open year round. Excellent prices, excellent selections. Hand scoop flavors from Gallikers, Vale wood and Perry's. The upside down banana split is their specialty
and it's huge! Wait time was minimal.
