We went for a holiday occasion for kids. The atmosphere was really nice. I was not happy that the food was cold. It was also way too crowded. It made my grandchild a little anxious. I think they should have made less reservations for the day and had the event more days so the experience was more enjoyable.

The restaurant looks exactly like the name. The inside gives fine dining and relaxed vibes. The food portions are amazing and was very very delicious. Everything came out hot. I Highly recommend this place if you are passing through or looking for a nice spot for date night. They also have different musicians play and even offer music bingo some nights!

A Hidden Gem in Summit Hill
My husband and I went to Maison House in Summit Hill for my birthday, and we’re so glad we found this hidden gem. The restaurant is set inside a beautiful historical mansion, and the atmosphere alone makes the visit special—warm lighting, live music, and a cozy, elegant vibe that feels like a true escape.
I ordered the porter steak with shrimp, cooked perfectly medium-rare. It had that ideal charbroiled flavor, paired with creamy homemade mashed potatoes and balsamic demi-glazed carrots that were absolutely delicious. My husband had the bacon cheeseburger, grilled well and served with crispy fries—simple but done exactly right. We also shared the garlic parm wings, which were juicy, flavorful, and fried to perfection.
Everything from the food to the service to the ambiance was outstanding. Maison House is definitely going to become our new date-night escape… and honestly, part of me wants to keep it our little secret. Highly recommend!

Morgan was our waitress I had her as a server before and didn’t have any issues this time when we walked she had us wait almost 5 min for a table in an empty restaurant we were seated and we knew what we wanted and ordered I was their with my 4 year old autistic grandson and she serves his apple juice in a glass from the bar she kept bump our table making the coffee spill all over the table and we didn’t have a saucer under the cup so we had a mess my food didn’t come out as ordered to how I wanted it cooked and my grandson was never served his French toast until after we had ate but her and the cook kept saying their almost done over and over finally when served we had to wait another 5 min for syrup we had to keep asking for more coffee and took for every for it to come out but she was serving the other 2 tables she had with a nice smile and and making sure they had what they needed and were happy her attitude really stank

Nice place attractive older building. Had a burger and fries that were previously frozen and not very fresh. Heavily suggest real fries and hand made burgers to kick up a notch. Server mentioned the fries weren't made fresh as too hard to make???

This was our first time eating at The Mansion House. I had the balsamic glazed salmon, baked potato and coleslaw. My meal came with a side salad.
Pro: Close to home, friendly staff, excellent food and comfortable atmosphere. If you’re a sauce person or a coleslaw snob like me, this is the place to eat. My husband raved about the quality of the side sauces and my coleslaw was fresh without any funny taste. Definitely worth a try! Highly recommend!
Cons: Slightly higher price but will say it was worth it. Quality of the food was on point.
