We had reservations for 3 people at 6:45pm. Our server was excellent, the timing of the drinks was mediocre and the timing of the dinners was poor. There were people who had no reservations, and came in after we were seated (in both the bar and dining room areas) who were served/paid/left before we even had our appetizers. At 8:15pm we still didn’t have our meals. We called our server over and requested to have our food boxed up. We were given the bill and offered no accommodations or adjustments. We paid the bill in full and tipped above 20%. We then requested to speak to a manager. The person who spoke with us said they didn’t know what happened, maybe the party in the pub ordered a quick meal. They didn’t offer anything but excuses. It wasn’t until we firmly restated that other parties, seated after us, were all served, paid and gone, that the “manager” offered us a $25 gift card to come back. We are locals and have been here before. This was not up to par. Extremely disappointed.

Stopped here whilel on a trip to the Jim Thorpe area. food was awesome service was excellent and friendly very good portion sizes prices were very reasonable

Met the matriarchs of this amazing restaurant at a farmers market some time ago and kept promising to go to their restaurant.... Oh how I wish I'd gone sooner. What an awesome experience.... The food was absolutely off the charts. As a first generation Italian I know what good Italian food is supposed to taste like and these ladies nailed it.... Felt like I was eating at Nonna's. Real people sized portions... Super fresh ingredients.. Along with knowledgeable friendly wait staff... Not to mention a reasonable bill... Will def go back again, and again.... And in case you were wondering I highly recommend it.

The food here was absolutely delicious! Our waitress and hostess Naomi was super attentive and friendly. We definitely will be coming back to this restaurant. All dishes are homemade and you can definitely tell the difference. Thanks again for a delicious meal!
Some of the very best (almost) homemade authentic Italian food we've had in years. My wife is a Napolitana, and a gourmet chef in her own right; so, trust me, we would know!
Our waitress was a delightfully young woman named Naomi. She was well-skilled in the social graces, and did an excellent job of taking good care of us while we dined.
Admittedly, the town of Summit Hill is a bit of an historical anachronism whose day has, most definitely, come and gone; but, still, eating at the Mansion House restaurant is well worth the 'trip to nowhere'.
All in all, we highly recommend the superior Italian 'haute cuisine' at the Mansion House restaurant.
(I know we'll be taking another step backwards in time in order to return.)?
