My girls and I just moved into the area, and we love breakfast foods. This was the perfect place to take them. They loved their pancakes. And both the men working were polite and welcoming!
Such a shame since the place is in a nice town and great location. First, the 2 separate hairs in the food one under the toast and one in the potatoes, since no one is wearing hair nets or pulled back. The child serving us never came back after the order so no chance to talk about it. I watched the child ask the lady checking me out what to do with the chips I left behind and she said reuse it.... absolute waste of $40 for 2 people. Its a shame because im sure they are nice people but this needs to be known.

It's a small place, but the service is very quick, so tables open up quickly. The food was good with nice portions and fair pricing. I enjoyed my visit.
Great food and coffee! Small but also has outside tables. Has a great local breakfast joint vibe. We have enjoyed everything here and esp the delicious chipped beef!!! Staff are hardworking and friendly. They will always take special requests if able. Great way to start the day. Only minus it can be hot and stuffy inside, dress light.
Truly, enjoyed breakfast at Vicky’s/Paulie’s on our last visit to Swarthmore, so much so that I haven’t forgotten that I owe them a review. Vicky’s is a 100% better than Bittersweet Kitchen in Media. In the past, Vicky’s food has always been good, but the last two times were great bc of the great food and the great service by Mary during the week and the Sunday morning crew. Can’t wait to get a Paulie’s t-shirt w/the Breakfast Club Silhouette for my graduating son, so hopefully, some new ones will be ordered.
My sister in law brought me here after having brunch with my kid earlier that day. The set is super casual with a with metal tables and random quotes on the wall. There was a small display of what looked like a coffee mug collection which I thought was cute. A nice young man greeted us and took our order. My daughter and I ordered the chili and my sil had a soup. My chili had a hair in it so I sent it back and had to wait to have it redone while everyone else started eating. Also my kids home fries arrived much after the rest of the meal. The chili was delicious we asked for sour cream and cheese on top. I'm honestly surprised it wasn't listed as an option in the menu. We also sprinkled in some home fries which took it to the next level. Try it and tell them I sent you lol. And I also ate the chili with toast and butter instead of the crackers it's more filling and tasty that way. I had to ask for the butter. I guess the food culture here is different because anytime I eat chili there's always loads of topping options and toast always comes with butter. My sister in law and I joked that they should add my chili order to the menu and name it after me lol
So friendly! Great service and the omelette was awesome! Loved the potatoes.
Toast and eggs arrive to the table warm and delicious.
Perfect old fashioned traditional breakfast joint.

Sticky tables and slow service, but this place has a lot of heart. Very dependable grilled cheese sandwiches ( an unappreciated skill! ) — this place definitely has not taken advice from a consulting firm
