I celebrated my birthday there the other night. The service was exceptional. The drinks were perfect. Chef Harry cooked our food to perfection. He also made us laugh a lot. Sorry I don't know the other chef's name but he was also wonderful.

Save your life DO NOT!!!! GO HERE RUNNNNN like forrest unless you want to end the night or your life in the emergency room from food poisoning/ecoli this restrants serves rotted meat ,dirty unhygienic, and very rude employees. Me my husband and small children stopped here on the way home from kalahari to my sorrows we sat to have dinner when the meat was placed on my plate instantly you could smell a foul smell coming from the chicken when I ask my husband he also could smell so I told the waiter and he took my plate away I was not going to let my children eat the food that was my limit among other things that were off about the restrants my husband went to restroom and the cook came out of the stall wearing his chif apron! When we said we was leaving we were almost attacked from the manager who told me I was not allowed to leave unless i payed! For food we did not eat and a 40% tip we we blocked in untill the police were called the owner pulled up in a convertible Mercedes looking like a slick slum lord and seemed to know all the police on a first name basis telling the police we got another out of town customer that don't wanna pay us we left the restrant without eating are food hungry and had to pay total bill plus 40% tip I would avoid this place at all cost..... still no reply from the owners or who ever runs there google page but thay have replied to everyone else?

Love this place! My absolute favorite hibachi. It’s a little pricey, but the food is excellent and so is the service. Makes for a nice night in the Poconos year round. Can’t wait to go back soon

We were staying at great wolf lodge wanted to have a nice meal and decided to go to desaki. MISTAKE. The inflated cost of everything here was crazy, @ 15$ California roll for example but I over looked the cost expecting an amazing meal. What we received was frankly lackluster at best. The chef decided to make fun of my 12 year old who is very clearly a little lady and called her a boy multiple times which hurt her feelings. He forget half the protein so my wife didn't get to eat until the entire table was nearly done. He gave to much meat to another guest tried to take it off her plate give it to another guest. You get my point. The thing that really upset me though was when I got the bill and they added 20% tip to it without telling anyone, I had to grab the cash off the table I left. We had a group of 3 people and no where does it say they will add a 20% (40$) tip on my bill. Be weary if you decide to come here, food was ok but no where near what you expect for the cost. Just not the experience I had hoped for.

We were the 1st ones to be seated, and had one of the worst views. They said they have to seat from the right 1st. When the next party came in, they took a chair away (why do that if you have to use every seat). By the time the last party came in, they were smushed at the end because there wasn’t a seat (which was taken away). They did the same thing to the table behind us, but left 3 empty seats and then started another party. We also had to wait 45 minutes for a chef. Our drink had a piece of hair on the lemon (gross). This restaurant is just not to be for us. There was no show with our meal. The cooks couldn’t keep up with all the dinners. The reason you go there is for the show, and we didn’t have one. It was a disaster from the beginning, and the prices are extremely high. You don’t even get a shrimp appetizer like most other hibachi places. I do have to say that the soup was delicious. Their hibachi seating is for too many people. If our table was totally full, 6 people wouldn’t be able to see the show. As it was, there were 3 people who couldn’t see the hibachi table. Also, a 20% tip is included in your check. No matter what size party you have.

A young man by the name of Ryan came up to our table tonight and was just absolutely outstanding. He was so friendly and got us whatever we needed at all times. He talked to us throughout the night and made the experience 10x better.
ryan came up to us and asked us about the experience and was a very lovely and charming boy. he made me and my friends experience a lot better and had a great conversation with him.
Restaurant is nice food was meh for the price. Wouldn’t go again.
