Only ate breakfast here and it was really tasty. Our waitress was helpful and attentive the entire time. The only thing I disliked was the mandatory 20% gratuity but it is not mandatory to tip on top of that, although we did because our waitress was so awesome and the breakfast was delicious.

We were celebrating our anniversary and made reservations at this beautiful restaurant..
From the greeting and service walking in to leaving, just amazing!
The beautiful ladies that took care of us, they were all very attentive, professional, patient and beautiful vibe.
Shout out to all the staff and especially the young lady that took care of us throughout our dinner, and made that beautiful presentation with the salad I ordered( I’m terrible with names, she has a very unique name starts with a B) but she was wonderful!
We dined Sunday November 3rd for a 7:30pm reservation.. All the best,
Cordette and Ron🫶🏽

This was absolutely one of the best meals I have ever experienced. I ordered the butternut squash soup, the New York strip steak au poivre, and the Bananas Foster. Everything was prepared thoughtfully and you could taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients in every bite. My steak was cooked exactly as requested and it was so tender. Perfection!

EXCELLENT!! Our breakfast server and evening crew took such good care of us. The Manager was catering and great with his staff, keeping everything organized and everyone focused...yes I noticed 🙂
The food...wow...I thought it would be too fancy with no flavor...I finished my breakfast plate clean and oir dinner was light..the charcuterie board was absolutely more than we could have thought it was. They even brought it up to our room. Isabella, in picture, was a bright star...she cared so much...making sure things were good. She treated everyone with kindness, above and beyond..yes I watched everything 😆

All went well. Our servers name was Jessica. She did a great job. Overall, the entire staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was prepared with care and delicious. Highly recommended, especially here in the Poconos.

It is a very pretty restaurant in a gorgeous new hotel. It has a wonderful outdoor area. The appetizers were (beet and burrata salad) good. Very tasty. I had the Diver Scallops and they were not very good...not bad, but just had a tinge of ammonia to them. So I didn't finish that. The Dirty Martini on the menu was a little ahh....but finishing with the banana crepe dessert was actually excellent. The Cabernet on the menu was also good. This place has a lot of potential.

Jessica was absolutely wonderful. We loved the trout and scallops. The new wine list should be coming soon and we look forward to seeing all the great wines from the east cost. Dining room was cozy and we look forward to visiting soon!

Everything looks perfect and clean!
Not so much choice at menu…
Worst thing 22% tips and after that server asking for more.
If someone hire a people, I think you should pay them well.

Food is expensive and tasteless. Also don’t like the 22% included tips. Stuffs are nice though.

Olivet Restaurant at The Swiftwater Hotel The Swiftwater

First time checking this new restaurant out, was a special occasion wife’s birthday ….. Service was excellent and the food was great. The portions are a smaller size, but are very flavorful, the favorite was the Ricotta Gnudi, even had a second order of this. They do add an automatic 22% gratuity onto your check which I find very odd. Good service im always tipping 20%. So find it odd that they automatically just add that. The ambiance is wonderful. Definitely a place to check out. But it is on the higher price point for sure.

Also the comp for the desert for my wife’s birthday was a very nice touch

Parmesan Mushroom Risotto-
Saffron, Enoki Mushroom, Parmesan Espuma, Black Summer Truffle

Ricotta Gnudi-
Brown Butter Sage, Asparagus, Heirloom Cherry Tomato, Gruyere, Confit Duck,
Lemon Zest, Micro Arugula

Pan Seared Diver Scallops-
Patty Pan Squash, Sautéed Swiss Chard, Roasted Red Pepper Coulis,
Baby Swiss Chard, Pomegranate, Chard Chip

Everything was great! We ate outside, and the ambiance was lovely. The wait staff is well trained and very pleasant. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and delicious! I have no negatives except that the menu is extremely limited, so it wouldn't be a restaurant that I would frequent regularly unless they start adding some specials. We've been there 2x in the last month.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Olivet for a special evening with my wife. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff and seated promptly. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, setting the perfect tone for our meal.

The food was nothing short of extraordinary - each dish was a masterpiece of flavors and presentation. We started with appetizers that delighted our taste buds, followed by main courses that were cooked to perfection. The chef's attention to detail and use of fresh ingredients truly shone through in every bite.

What truly made our experience unforgettable was the impeccable service provided by the staff. They were not only attentive to our needs but also went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a memorable dining experience. The staff was accommodating to any requests we had and their knowledge of the menu helped us make informed choices.

Overall, our experience exceeded all expectations with its exceptional food quality and top-notch service. It was truly a delightful evening that we will cherish for years to come

Wow! Thank you Julian for the exceptional service! Maitre D Sundiata’s calm Demeanor is the reflection of the atmosphere. Highly suggest the Vincent’s Old Fashioned with a touch of espresso. Love the Ricotta Gnudi (Thank you Chris and Kitchen)
We will be back!

Shared the beetroot salad and both ordered the trout. Beautifully prepared and presented. Paired well with the Gruner Veltliner. Only negative was a loud talking diner at a nearby table who was full of himself, though we managed to tune him out. Not the restaurant's fault.
