The service was fantastic. We started at the bar with Eric who was very personable and mixed a great diablo (although you should provide taking for him to rim the glass). The outdoor dining was better than expected. The room was comfortable, but I was self conscious about the noise level at our table disturbing other patrons. (Hopefully they didn't complain about us having a great time.) The olive bread was unexpected and delicious. We has 3 orders of Mahi Mahi and 2 pasta carbonara at our table. The accompanying scallops were not seared and the fish was cold, but the sauce and polenta were very tasty. No complaints about the pasta . Overall our group enjoyed the meal, atmosphere and service. A couple minor tweaks in the kitchen and a fifth star could be yours. Looking forward to dining at the Olivet again to try something new.
We were there last year when they first opened and LOVED it! We live in the suburbs of Philly and do legal work for some of the biggest Chefs on the East Coast! We stay at MT Airy because we do legal work for the GM there who recommended your restaurant to us! The food was amazing again this year! The servers tried very hard but clearly were struggling to keep up. Same for the bar. I took time to detail our arrival and how serious my allergy is to perfume & cologne. We took the table tucked very far in the back left corner. The hostess did NOT have to seat anyone at the 2 top next to us there were plenty of other open tables. As a result one of the Managers & Hostesses admitted they really did not take my notes that I use a Epi Pen 15 mins after my lungs start to shut down. They did apologize but in the future they need to read notes sooner and be better prepared. We had to prop the door open and other guest were cold. All they should have done was NOT put anyone next to us. There were lots of other options. We spent a decent amount of money both visits. You could tell when we checked in the blonde hostess had never read the reservation notes!
No issues with food or waitress, but BEWARE that our Thanksgiving celebration was ruined because the bartender said I had 4 drinks and wasn't being served anymore. I had 3 drinks when we checked into the hotel a few hours prior, I did NOT have 4 consecutive drinks. The manager of the restaurant said it's their policy. Take it up with upper management. I was not drunk, there was no reason I couldn't be served another drink. My husband would have cut me off if he thought I shouldn't have another. We were forced to leave the hotel and go to another restaurant to have the 2nd drink I wanted to continue celebrating my life. Luckily, my husband wasn't drinking at dinner so he was able to drive. We had no plans of leaving the hotel after dinner. We told the bartender at the restaurant we went to afterwards what happened and she was shocked. Agreed with us that I should have been served 1 more drink under the circumstances, and that I was not drunk. We were celebrating my life as last Thanksgiving I was in a hospital bed in ICU and we didn't know the outcome. Our holiday was ruined. I'm sorry we went to this hotel/restaurant to celebrate. We were so insulted and disgusted, we ate all of our other meals during our stay outside of the hotel and didn't use any amenities at the hotel either.
The Restaurant needs to have some privacy. It is too open and near the entrance to the hotel. The service was ok, and it took a long time for our entrees to come. The atmosphere felt more like an airport waiting area than a romantic restaurant. Doors in the back kept opening and letting in cold air, and the noise level was very loud and drowned out the piped-in music. The App;e Tart Dessert was the best part of the meal.
This was a disappointment. Way overpriced for a basic hotel lobby feel with mediocre food. The Caesar dressing was not good and the steak was not good.
Very beautiful restaurant with excellent waitstaff. Our waiter was very informative and funny and he even gave us a little extra surprise for my husbands birthday that we were celebrating. The steak was excellent which was my husband's choice. I got the chicken and was a little disappointed because it wasn't very flavorful but all the apps were great so that made up for it.
Everyone from the wait staff, to the bartenders, to the chefs were terrific and made our evening unforgettable. The food was delicious with wines to accompany most palates and price point. We cannot wait to stay at the Swiftwater and enjoy the other dishes they have to offer.
Service was incredibly slow, waited 45 min for our first cocktail. Appetizers brought before we even had our drinks. Never refilled our water, had to ask several times. Food was expensive for what it was, specifically table side Caesar,
jason was our server for the night and he was very attentive and great! the food was good and the atmosphere was very nice. definitely a great spot for a more upscale vibe

I went there for my birthday, this past weekend and it was a nice experience and the food was good as well.
Service was excellent. Ambiance is good even though it is located right off the lobby of the hotel and the bar is not separated from the dining area. There were only a few bar patrons and tables in use at the time. The pork chop and swordfish entrees were flavorful but heavy on the pepper. Caesar salad made table side was not large enough to share, and they do not use garlic. We never heard of garlic not being used in a Caesar salad, so it did not live up to our expectations. Also, they were out of vanilla ice cream and crepes for dessert which was a huge disappointment for a restaurant trying to be top notch! Be aware they automatically apply a 20% tip to the bill. All in all, we enjoyed our experience at the restaurant, due to the excellent waiter we had that evening.
That was the first time that we had visited the restaurant. The food was great and nicely executed. Stuff was nice and ambience very pleasant. We will definitely be back.
We had a wonderful experience. The fillet mignon and swordfish were delicious. The drinks were equally outstanding.
The food was expensive and they put too much spices on it otherwise the filet mignon was good. It is on the expensive side. Services was good. The hotel needs to put out coffee earlier in the morning for the concierge customers early riser can't wait till 8 AM for coffee.
