Fairview Cafe Reviews
My husband took me there for Mother’s Day 2025. We ordered the pecan Brie appetizer and it was an unrecognizable mess. Soupy, globs of something, GROSS. They served this with rosemary flavored crackers which didn’t go at all with it. Tasted odd. We both had the cowboy ribeye steaks. It was 1/4 inch thick, flavorless and so tough I could hardly cut it with a knife. Blob of cold mashed potatoes and hard and cold green beans. Yuck. One of the WORST meals I’ve ever had at a...read full review
The only good thing about our dining experience was the service. First off the building was absolutely freezing. The food was terrible. The steaks were paper thin and charcoaled. The dessert was terrible. It was dry as could be. This was a Saturday night and there were only two other people in the place with us. Save your money and go elsewhere!
Beautiful Rustic Building and Christmas Decorations. Atmosphere didn't match service and dinner.
Three people in our party wanted the Cowboy Steak, however, they only had two left in the house. The waitress never refilled our water glasses, or replaced the bread we ate. I had Filet Mignon that was tasteless. Some wanted fries with dinner. but they weren't available. Dessert was good but not all listed were inD house.
Disappointing. Whoever owns this establishment needs...read full review

Fairview Cafe offers a dining experience that exceeds expectations. This elegant and rustic restaurant boasts a 5-star metropolitan vibe, with a stunning atmosphere that sets it apart from a typical cafe. The attentive and personable waitstaff cater to diners' needs, providing excellent service. The building has a beautiful exterior and a magical interior, featuring a four-sided field stone fireplace that reaches over 20 feet high, surrounded by glass-paned windows. In warmer weather, outside seating is available under a covered patio area.
The menu features a variety of delectable options. Standout dishes include the stuffed baby bellas, crab cakes, fried goat cheese, and the whiskey butter ribeye, which are all praised for their delicious flavors. The entrees, such as the rack of lamb in a berry glaze and the cowboy steaks, are cooked to perfection. However, some diners felt that the portion sizes for certain dishes, like the scallops and the rack of lamb, were not adequate. There is no liquor license, as it operates under a BYOB policy.
Overall, Fairview Cafe offers a dining experience that combines exceptional food, service, and ambiance, making it a fantastic choice for those seeking a classy and memorable meal, whether dining indoors or on the covered patio. Many guests have enjoyed their experiences over the years and intend to return.
