Really unfortunate that the place has gone down hill. Yesterday while waiting for ice cream, I observed a girl and a boy come with this very small kitten to which they passed back and forth to the staff working. Highly unsanitary, highly inappropriate. My ice cream was already in the works. Seemed to forget the order because they were all distracted by the kitten that shouldn’t have been away from its mother, let alone in the kitchen. Prices are extremely high. Really disappointed. No urgency in the kids working. Previous owners kept this place in tip top shape.

What’s sad is I waited in line and literally observed this young lady ask everyone customer for a name so there could find them when there order was done. But for some reason when me and my son got to the counter I guess a babe want needed! Anyway long story short two of my orders came with no lids, even though when I placed the order I asked for lids because she ask me if they were to go. The girl who place my order on the counter literally through 2 of the lids on the dirty counter and never even made i contact. Keep in mind there was No arguing or anything, I placed an order, waited like Everyone, and this is how we were treated. The only difference between me and my son from everyone else is that we were black. Wrap your brain around that! But we’re hostile

This place is running on the fumes of nostalgia. The menu is fantastic, but the counter help is not friendly or helpful. Enter the parking lot at your own risk if you don't want to drop your muffler in a giant pothole.

Just got a burger from there for the first time and wedding soup I have to say the girls where nice but I just got home expecting delicious burger buttttt smh the burger Pattie is like store bought and tasteless no seasoning then I had hope for the soup and idk it seems like canned wedding soup idk greasy to. At least the ice cream since I do like to taste different things figured maybe the ice cream is natural buttttt it taste just like McDonald ice cream
Honestly I don’t think this is food at all I was confused when they had the food ready in 2 min so quickly lol u would think out here in the woods they have good food but I think they forgot the “ sason” seasoning at there house cabinet or something ….. to score a 4.6 rating I guess the people are used to bland and tastless cooking smh

We are still new to the Tamaqua area and trying out the good. We came here for a quick and cheap meal. We weren't disappointed. I had the boom boom burger wrap and fries special while my husband had a buffalo chicken cheese steak with fries. Both were delicious! The ice cream menu looked outstanding with a huge variety of options, but it's still a bit too cold for me to eat ice cream so I'll do an update later. You order at the counter and someone brings out your food. There is also a cooler or 2 with take home ice cream. The building and parking lot itself could use some tlc but don't let that stop you. We will go back!

Ended up stopping here on a motorcycle ride last weekend to warm up. We all had coffee and the other guys got toasted ham and cheese sandwiches with perogies. I had a double cheeseburger and perogies. Food came out quickly, the guys enjoyed their sandwiches. The burger was ok. Was $10 for burger, 3 perogies and a large coffee..can't complain about that.
