“My family and I stopped in to surprise my mother for her birthday! It was an amazing experience as soon as you walk into the adorable shop full of cute kitty items! Then Kim greeted us and took our orders before showing us to the cat room and giving us the rundown! They have all the cat’s info on the wall and give us cute toys to play with the cats! They had so many cute and friendly cats and we enjoyed hanging out with them! The coffee and raspberry popping pearl drink was delicious! Will 100% be visiting again! “I don't know of a spectacular way to say thank you for all the courtesy and kindnesses given to me as I was dining/celebrating with my son on his (over 21st. birthday) so from the bottom of my heart I say (once again) thank you---------for everything, Glen & Rose! The service, preparation, care of the order, and, up to and including the delivery of our food make me value this West Penn Diner experience as worthwhile and I feel appreciated as a customer. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy and the diner is clean. It is also really worth noting that your omelettes are just the very best! There is nothing to add except another order to them. All the ingredients that are included on the plate equal perfection. I feel confident to write that I bet all the customers feel that with all of these orders of perfection being carried out from the kitchen I believe you have a deadly combination of satisfied, happy and grateful customers. “So I left a review a month ago... when I had 2nd degree sunburns from kayaking and I could not move or cook, I ordered again tonight because the car broke down! I was stranded about an hour away my daddy and my nephew had to bring me home I was so tired I didn't even want to cook or make a sandwich!!! I ended up ordering again from Joe's cuz no offense to Domino's but they suck lol it's not real food or even great fast food and Joe's is way WAY better and they deliver so LATE! SOOOO... that's the best part because when you're tired and exhausted and had one of those days AFTER A LONG work day, you don't want to cook, so I ordered a California steak pizza with lettuce onion and tomato and I ordered mild wings... I called in at 7:52 they told me maybe about 40 minutes or so like 45 minutes! That was fine because I didn't care if it took them till closing to deliver because I didn't want to make anything to eat. I WAS EXHAUSTED! They got here at 8:30 they were here in 28 minutes they're only 6 minutes away but the last review I posted they were here within 30 minutes and I ordered a lot of food and everything for a few days since I was hurting from sunburn... what I ordered tonight and last month was phenomenal and I mean phenomenal I ordered two different things this time only... because I knew how good the other things were, I wanted to try something different! I cannot rave enough about the food and service even the sweet girl on the phone that took my order!!! THEY ALL are outstanding!!! THEY deserve five stars every single day! They go above and beyond Everytime, cause I've seen other reviews... Their food is amazing to say the least and the service and the delivery people that deliver are top notch, so polite etc etc! Now enjoying beef tacos and 2 egg rolls from the food truck, Steel Your Plate. So nice. Great food and always amazing beer. Our friends come 90+ minutes away for the great beer and nice owner. This is the place!”

“My friends and I found The Wabash by accident,, we were chasing the Reading & Northern 2102 last Saturday Oct 25th 2025.. We were looking for a place for lunch and a few beers.. The food was good and prices were right,, and I got the last bowl of French Onion soup.. The woman behind bar was very nice to talk to,, putting up with us,, the Train guys... Next time we are in Tamaqua,, we will stop at The Wabash,,... Pat from Massachusetts...”

“Was traveling through the area for an event. And the pizza was definitely a better pizza in the area. It was your standard cheese pizza and got the job done satisfying our hunger. The atmosphere in the place was interesting with the theme. Definetly a small town pizza place but the one that uperscale eatery. I would definitely suggest calling ahead for pizza. We stopped by on Sunday and was a half hour wait. And football season didn't even start yet. And they are largely staffed so definitely get you situatituated. Was a very odd experience all together. Maybe it was because it was a Sunday. But I have lot of people say it's good. So go check it. And good luck to them.”

“I live about 3 hours away from Tamaqua but every time I come to visit my family there, it’s a must to visit Hope and Coffee. I come back to my town and brag about how I swear up and down that you have the BEST breakfast and coffee I have EVER had in my entire life. The staff is amazing, the art is amazing, the atmosphere is amazing and as I said the food and drinks are 10/10! I genuinely love everything about the coffee shop/cafe.”

“Loved this place for so many reasons- excellent prices, tasty & wide selection of menu items, and friendly staff— ESPECIALLY Savannah!! She was a terrific waitress who was truly enthusiastic about her job, got the food to the table in record time, and knew the menu like the back of her hand- all with a smile on her face! You can’t find wait staff like this anymore. She’s a treasure and so is this restaurant!”

“My family and relatives dined at Basile's today for a funeral lunch. The food was amazingly delicious! The portions are big and right for the price. It is a modern atmosphere and the private party room was beautiful. I would recommend Basile's to anyone! Great food and nice atmosphere. The waitresses were very friendly and accommodating.
