“My food was really good.!!! Filet medalions over potatoes with red wine reduction sauce. Who would've thought a place like this. So awesome!!! Tonight was a live Neil Diamond singer. "I will be back.."”
“I have to say this is one of our go to places for local pizza. The pizza's not bad, they're from Canarsie, so we always have a good time talking about the city, service is wonderful everybody is super friendly, which makes a big difference. There are certain places that I've been to down the road in Tamaqua we are the service was so nasty. I'll never go back there again. I don't care how good their pizza is anyway, but back to how wonderful this place is. We were skeptical at first, but it really grew on us. Also, the Caesar salads are killer.”
“This place food is so yummy an finger licking good. I was nervous at first because of my own worries. I gave it a shot at the request of my household anyways. Glad I did. I ordered shrimp & broccoli with white rice. Plus mild general tso chicken with fried rice. Also a small order of plain shrimp fried rice. Alongside with a bunch of shrimp rolls. My only complaint is the fried rice just tasted oily and not to great. Also they need to add delivery, soon. I’ll still reorder when I can pick up food, anyways.”
“Great atmosphere, great staff, Angie and her man are always fun, and friendly, the drinks are all reasonably priced, and worth every cent, pool table's level and clean always, and the music is all provided by a digital jukebox when not provided by a live DJ.”
“I'm sure the atmosphere is great but being handicapped I only get delivery. Everything we ordered came on time and was delicious. I love vegetable pizza - NO olives.”
“Wandered in for something to do while waiting to be called for meal reservation at nearby restaurant. LOVED the beer flight. Especially the Christmas Ale and Peach Cobbler Ale with the optional cinnamon/sugar on the glass rim. And I never thought I'd even consider beer like that much less enjoy it. The other, less seasonal-sounding beers were also spot-on. Need to fix whatever is not quite playing music in the main room but otherwise it's a wonderful respite. I'll be back!”
“Absolutely my favorite coffee shop!! I have yet to find something I did not like!! Even my coworkers are addicted to everything I bring in. And if you like smoothies then this place is a must-try!! The homemade pastries are always perfection!!”
“Delicious wraps and charcuteries, amazing alcohol free options as well as wines… ie elderberry fizz with gingerbeer. Friendly and efficient service… patronize weekly and recommend to out of town friends every time with great feedback”
“A+++! An absolute diamond of a Cat Cafe in the middle of Pennsylvania Coal Country. Owners Kim & Ron have created a safe, spotlessly clean, bright and fun environment for the rescue cats awaiting adoption and the guests! The cats were calm, sociable and well cared for. All available for adoption. The cappuccinos and latttes rival the best of European capitals. A cat lovers gift area with original pins, jewelry and mugs. This cafe is run with a lot of love and hard work. Completely worth the drive from nyc and Philadelphia. I can’t wait to visit again.”
“Great place for food and drinks as well as shoot some pool, depending on time ya fo sometimes service is slow but other than that the place Rocks!! Frank and Cori definitely got this place back on the map!Parking: If handicap street parking is what ya want because there are no steps to get in,otherwise ya can park out back and walk up the steps and your in!Wheelchair accessibility: Use street parking no steps to go in front way”
“This place has really good food, decent prices, the esthetics and theme inside the restaurant is so unique and eye capturing. This makes this restaurant stand out.Parking: Parking lot with standard meters to put quarters in.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is all on the same level, this restaurant is wheelchair accessible”
“Been to many eateries in Jim Thorpe and I will say this by far has been the best, the food was awesome and the portions are big, and don't make the mistake we made by bringing coffee from outside, the have great coffee we saw the sign once inside, the waitress very cheerful and made the clients feel comfortable.”
“The team that works here is very coordinated and try to communicate to the best of their ability considering the traffic flow in their location. This place is a vibe and the quality is great.”
“Classic roadside diner/restaurant. Small with a homely feel. The food was well prepared, the staff was upbeat and kind, and prep times fairly quick. Always a pleasant dining ”
“This is a hidden gem. Best steak tacos ever and the margarita was out of this world. If I lived close I would go at least weekly. Service was fantastic! Very friendly people.”
“We just had lunch there. The atmosphere was simply old world charm. One guest had the Turkey Rachel and he really enjoyed it. I had a burger and it tasted delicious and like it came off an outdoor grill. We were full so we took dessert home. The staff was very attentive and very pleasant. We will return”
“Great atmosphere, live music (guitar and keyboard) while you eat. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Nicely decorated and festive.Only thing is, the street parking can be challenging.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available”
“Stopped in for a few bourbon pours. Great selection of bourbon with some impossible to find allocated ones like Pappy 15 yr, Rip Van Winkle 10 year, Blantons and EH Taylor.”
“Great wings, I get the full pound order of the boneless Dog Bites, I get Hot Barbecue Garlic and it's to die for... Also the hand cut fries are the best fries I've had in a while, they taste amazing... Gotta try the BONELESS DOG BITES”
“Natural, authentic tasting handmade pizza! It’s right here at home and it’s better than pizza I’ve had for twice the price. This is amazing and the man is so sweet.”
“A very nice restaurant with great food and service. We got the brunch they have on Sunday and it was great all around. The prices weren't bad either, and the place sits right next to the Appalachian Trail. The only problem was the heavy fog we had to go through to get there.”
“In The Mix is hybrid between a dive bar, and a traditional pub. They carry quite an impressive selection of local craft and microbrew beers as well as the full assortment of domestic and imported beer. They also have a few beers on draught, including some crafts. The cocktails are generous and very well priced. The "regulars" are very nice and always up for a conversation as is the owner/bartender Mike. Highly recommend stopping in here.”
“My boyfriend and I came here for breakfast after an unfortunate experience at the Broadway Grille. We were not disappointed! Service was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly. The strawberry banana crepe was classic and absolutely delicious. Some of the best hot chocolate I’ve had, too! I wish this business nothing but success! Please stop by and try out their delicious treats if you’re ever in Jim Thorpe!”
“We had the opportunity to dine at this wonderful establishment last night with friends . The staff were very friendly and our server was fantastic and assured us that our gluten free food is handled and prepared with much care . My wife and I have gluten allergies and our food was fantastic! Everything was on point and we cannot wait to come back here again !Dietary restrictions: As a gluten free vegetarian, it can be difficult to find good food that is safe to eat and not a salad . I had a gluten free pasta primavera and it was hands down some of the best I’ve ever had !! I look forward to seeing even more options in the the future!”
“I always try to stop here for lunch when I’m in town. Love this place. Hasn’t changed a bit since I was a kid and that’s what makes it so perfect! Comfort food at its best!”
“We had steak sandwiches and french fries and onion rings the steak sandwiches were large for the price that rolls were nice and toasted onion rings were delicious fries were delicious huge portion of onion rings for the money”
“Great place. Owner was so nice and sat and took the time to explain their business and why it was called Revere. Husband was very happy with the beer selections.”
“Very quaint, cute space. Lives up to the name of a "coffee bar". Was offered to have my coffee served in a glass, which was a brand new experience (there are also traditional to-go cups as well). There were two people ahead of me, and the wait time wasn't terrible, considering Dan, the owner, was the only one behind the counter at the time. He was really attentive to everyone who came in, stopping for a moment to acknowledge new patrons. His recommendation for a coffee from Honduras did not disappoint. It was very smooth and flavorful with no bitterness whatsoever. I paid $4.25 for a normal sized latte, which is cheaper than your Starbucks and Dunkin by a few bucks! All in all, really great experience. Nice folks, good coffee, good environment. Would strongly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of alternate milk options.Parking: Fairly small llot, but seems easy enough to find a spot even during the busier times.”
“Awesome breakfast! Very timely. Never let my coffee get cold. Food was very very good. Table of bff's next to me sharing mimosas. Another table of veterans enjoying each other's company. Can't wait to come back!!!”
“Wanted to eat in Jim Thorpe but found this down to earth Bar & Grill, food was excellent and the server was very thoughtful a d helpful. Not sure of here name but was working 2/17 a Saturday afternoon. Was celebrating my Birthday.”
