“I had the “Sophia Special”. I asked Sophia what’s her favorite hot sandwich and she says “Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak” (it’s NOT on the menu) but she was nice enough to make it for me. I’m glad I asked her opinion, because it was great! 😍 Ordered it To Go with 2 Guers Iced Tea 💞 and it was still hot and delicious when I got home. Great Buffalo sauce flavor, right amount of cheese, tender juicy chopped chicken and a fresh roll. If you see this review and ask for it, please make sure to tip extra because off menu items can be tricky when they’re busy. I just had to do a review because Sophia was cool 😎 and the sandwich was great! Next time I’m back visiting the parents, I’ll be sure to stop in again. “This place is amazing like honestly, we saw the reviews and were pretty amazed of the high rating we are not from here about 3 hours away and wanted to have a good lunch before returning home this place I can say is completely deserving of 5 stars authentic and delicious Spanish food. Me and my sister got quesadillas, the birria was tender and seasoned perfectly, the tortilla was cooked perfectly and crispy, and dipping into sour cream and there homemade guacamole was the cherry on top.
If you are a cheese pull fanatic enjoy.

“I’m from Maryland and I visited JT for the first time this past weekend. I can’t express enough how wonderful the entire town is. But Wild Elder was the most welcoming and cozy establishment. I highly suggest the Elderflower Cider or mulled Elderberry wine. I had their BLT and broccoli slaw and it paired perfect! I can’t wait to come back again!”

“Hidden in plain sight and generally overlooked. A cross between a diner and your grandma's house. Cute little corner store with your usual diner options. Also has some delicious Polish menu items. Great spot to grab a quick bite or pick something up on your way through. Friendly and quick service. Reasonable prices. Large portions. The potato pancakes were especially delicious (and massive!).”

“Driving past on our way from Virginia to Maine we stopped at Cabana's for dinner. Such a pleasant surprise. We were greeted at the door with genuine smiles and a hearty welcome! “My favorite place in Jim Thorpe! Yesterday, my friend and I stopped in for lunch and despite being super busy, we were able to be seated at the bar. The bartender was attentive and friendly, and the food and cocktails were on point! We can’t wait to come back next time we are in town.”

“We took our granddaughter here for her birthday, and it was such an amazing experience! They even had a birthday card waiting at the table signed by the entire staff—such a thoughtful touch. Everyone was so friendly and went above and beyond. Our waitress was great and brought her a special drink with a birthday candle, and the chef made a special dessert just for her that was waiting after dinner, which made her feel extra special. The food was absolutely out of this world. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!”
