Delicious food with amazing owners. My family and I have been regulars here since they opened and the food is always top notch. This is where we always celebrate birthdays and holidays and we hope to be able enjoy them here for many years to come ❤️

First time here! I saw a video on YouTube about this historic place and restaurant and I had to give it a try! I was blown away! I would give this restaurant 10 Stars if I could! The location is cozy and historic, the food is over the top delicious, the staff is very friendly and attentive, and the desserts are a must have! I would highly recommend this place!

First time going. Will not be the last. From Hostess to waiter( steve) to apps, and dinner. All was awesome. Very nice people plus they engaged with you not just about the place or food.

My mother and I decided to stop here for lunch on our way back from getting our hair cut. We really like the Reuben sandwiches, as the corned beef is sliced super thin. When the hostess greeted us in the lobby, she immediately asked us to smile. I told her that we were not having a good day and she proceeded to tell us to smile otherwise. At this point, an ambulance was across the street with its lights on. The hostess seated us at a table with a window view and told us that we would have a great view of the ambulance. My mother and I just suffered a terrible loss in our family and these comments were not appreciated at all. The food was good, not spectacular, but good. What I am asking is that your staff be more observant of your customers. If customers are not smiling or do not seem happy, just be courteous. Please seat them and do not say anything further to make them upset. The behavior of your hostess definitely did affect the tip the waitress received. We do apologize, but let this be a learning experience.

Stopped off for lunch after hiking the Appalachian Trail. I was very pleased by our decision. Our lunch was wonderful. Service was amazing. I am looking forward to returning especially during the Christmas season.

Not too busy so didn’t need reservations. Good drinks, tasty appetizers (French onion soup & lamb lollipops) and apricot glazed pork with Crème Brûlée for dessert. Good service, friendly bartenders, and fine historic facility.

Located in this historic rail town, Tamaqua Station offers an excellent variety for a mid size diner menu and specials. If the weather is nice, you can eat outside along the rails and might catch a passing freight or scenic train go by. As for my selection, I was very impressed with the Balsamic & Bleu Salad. The Oscar Salmon was cooked to perfection. Of course, plenty of nice desserts to choose from. The service was very good and the hosts are very pleasant. While eating inside, you get a sense of eating in a station that did have a restaurant. The inside represents the period of the heyday of passenger rail service.
