I am a little late with my review but we had my daughter's bridal shower at Rising Sun and I couldn't be more pleased! Teresa and her staff were amazing! The decore and food were the best. My guests raved and continue to tell me how wonderful they thought it was. We were so happy with everything we asked Teresa to cater the wedding. That was just as fabulous. They had everything down to a science. I would highly recommend
Have not been here for along time and won’t be back for along time if ever! The food was tasteless.. my steak was COLD .. my sons 16oz t bone was so fatty and not rendered he had a hard time chewing it .. the airline chicken was so tiny couldn’t even find it on the plate! The mash potato and greens beans were so bland!! The salad was nice but the house dressing ..the rolls cold and stale nothing to write home about.. our waitress was the best thing.. nice polite and attentive...
I attended a family party at the Rising Sun Inn last weekend. Not being from that area, I'd never heard of it. From the outside, it was so quaint and pretty. Inside, it was also cozy and rustic. The private room was roomy and set up beautifully. Many of us stopped into the bar a couple of times throughout. There was plenty of space and the drinks were delicious and priced fairly.
