The other V&S locations have really gone down hill in recent years, but the 5th street location remains true to their roots. Still uses original vendors and it shows. Love the food and the staff at this location.
My family has been ordering sandwiches from here for decades! I do not live in town so one of the first things we do when we get to Reading is stop at V & S for a cheesesteak. They are messy and delicious and there's nothing else like them!
Staffing was great. Sandwich? Ehh, it was OK.
I had an Italian on a hard roll with MLO plus dill pickles and banana peppers.
Taste was great, but the sandwich was so full with meats I had I deconstruct it, then put it back together without half of the meat just to eat it.
