Great location near the canoe/kayak launch, which hits the spot after a hot day on the river. Very generous portions for the price and both the ice cream and food were above average.
I’ve been here twice for ice cream and I can say that it’s pretty standard soft serve. There is nothing overwhelmingly good about it, but it’s not terrible either. Last time, I got a vanilla cone with sprinkles and it was pretty tasty. This time, I got a banana milkshake. The milkshake was a let down. It was very, very runny, almost like the consistency of plain milk. Even fast food restaurants serve thick milkshakes. It was also quite small for a large and for nearly $5.
Great little Ice cream shop and restaurant. Located near the fish hatchery and overlooking the beautiful Allegheny River. A nice place to stop for ice cream sundae or lunch. Enjoy. A Keeper See menu and prices in the pictures.
