Originally a rest area on Route 8, the Woods Dog house is a beautiful place to hang out with nature and have a dog, burger, shake among other delicacies.

Passed by due to work and immediately U-TURNED when I saw the hotdog sign😅 they take cash or check and thankfully I had some cash, the food was delicious and I loved the cute picnic tables everywhere I was able to eat and enjoy the fresh air. I wish nothing but happiness on the lovely lady who made my food🙂

Its a sweet quiet place surrounded by peaceful woods, it's cash or check only and the bathroom is a portapotty away from the eating area. Its not expensive to eat here and I love coming here. Very down to earth place to stop and be still while enjoying good food and great company

Exceeded expectations for a wood hut in the middle of nowhere on a rain soaked evening in late spring. The chili dogs were tasty and the onion straws were crispy. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Great woods setting vibe. 2 Footlongs with chili and cheese & 2 sodas $16+ gave the change ($20) for tip. I figured they would not skimp on the chili & cheese. Even the onion was hard to see. Barely could tell any cheese under chili. Chili had flavor, but the dry bun combined ruined it. Definitely was my one time stop...

Amazing hotdogs, but really tired of places not accepting card in 2024. You're losing out on so many sales when people have to make a special trip to the ATM just to go to your eatery, which is already in the middle of nowhere.
