Excellent samiches. Highly recommend it. Superb bread, gigantic portions. One note for non-New Yorkers: no long hots to be had. Still good. No complaints. Very friendly and fast service. These folks cut the meats for each order.

Pick up a few sandwiches today and they were delicious. Great fresh bread made it even better.

Went to buy sandwiches at 2:00 on a Friday. Hours say 9 to 4 but was closed. Sign even said open. So sick of businesses not being open during business hours. Can’t make money if you don’t open. Won’t be back

I would say if you’re craving for a nice sandwiches, I highly recommend the place. Very friendly and the service is impeccable. I ordered the breakfast bagel and cheese, the Godfather sandwich and the turkey sandwich and they’re all delicious. Definitely come by if you’re on the area, you won’t be disappointed.

Born & bred in New York City, when I see a deli name with the phrase “on a roll” — they BETTER have great rolls! This brand new ITALIAN DELI does not disappoint.BEST ROLLS in the Poconos hands-down. The owner made me a turkey and cheese sandwich which was incredibly fresh. No cheap wet turkey that you get in a supermarket here. Imported cheese from Italy. They bring the bread in from NYC.They moved into the strip mall just north of the main entrance of Pocono Country Place on Route 196. I’m a local Realtor, so every time I’m working in the area which is often, I’ll be thinking of getting a sandwich from here. Let’s support this new small business!!!

Basic!! Nothing spectacular about it. Had better @ Wawa. The big Brooklyn was nasty chicken cutlet was hard and dry ? Change your hours on Google, Says they close at 5pm meanwhile owner rushed us out at 4pm

We stopped here last week on our way to downstate NY. We wanted something quick, rather than spending an hour or so in a restaurant. The owner let us sample the cold cuts which were outstanding. The bread was delicious. Even the tomato was fresh and tasted homegrown, which is hard to come by in March. I had the Donny Brasco sandwich and would highly recommend it. The only downside is that it is a bit off the beaten path. If you're looking for NY style sandwiches or just really good, quality cold cuts, you've got to try this place!
