I don’t think Darrell who is mentioned as being friendly and welcoming was there where I went! I was barely acknowledged by the young lady with headphones on at the front desk. She was quick to mention multiple items they did not have that day. Neither she or the chef cracked a smile. When she handed me the food, she stuck out the bag and turned her head away. Food was bland, lacked seasoning, no salt on the fries and the driest, underseasoned mac and cheese I’ve ever had. I felt like a nuisance even walking into the place. Much nicer restaurants in the area i will be visiting instead.

I just wanted to thank the owner of seafood haven I can’t wait to try the food I just moved to this area but I just wanted to give a shout out to the owner he was incredibly friendly and welcoming, taking his time to greet everyone personally. As a special touch, he gave out free turkeys to the community for thanksgiving which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture, especially during this time of year.
It’s clear that this business truly values its customers and community. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff seemed just as enthusiastic and kind as the owner. I’m excited to support this new local gem and highly recommend checking it out!

We tried to eat here on Friday night around 6:30 but they were all out of many choices. We were greeted by whom I assume is the owner and he was kind and friendly. Counter staff was less than friendly. She kept insisting they only had two kinds of fish which we were willing to adjust our expectations, but when asked if they had scallops or shrimp, she said yes to scallops, and then yelled at us that they only had two kinds of fish. The owner said they had shrimp, she said no they don’t. We went back-and-forth trying to figure out if we could get enough food for our family or not and in the end we left. We were all very disappointed as we wanted to try some new things, but they didn’t have many options and were not helpful more like yelling at us.

Been to seafood Haven numerous times and figured I’d finally give them a review now that I have tried a large majority of the menu , not only can I tell you they have great fresh food from the top to the bottom of the menu, they also have a great customer service mind set Welcoming and Friendly! To top it all off all their pricing is fair they even go as far as make value meals to make it more affordable for every day customers. If you haven’t been here stop by and support! You’ll thank me later !

The true meaning of comfort food ! Darryl treated me like family when I walked in, automatically greeted me and had no problem explaining his menu options to me. THE COLLARD GREENS YALL, are something differenttt! Its a must try. Everything cooked to perfection. I have 0 regrets. Everything tastes so fresh and seasoned to perfection. I will be coming back . This is so refreshing to see a place like this in the poconos.
