Take the time and go visit them! Ellie and Lori are the warmest hosts when you enter into the place. They are bright, knowledgeable and charismatic. As for the wine, you have a taste of The Finger Lakes. It is a hidden gem! Bottom line. Go! Visit! Taste! Enjoy!
Wonderful, surprising treat in the Endless Mountains. Located along scenic Route 6 in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, Nimble Hill offers a great variety of locally concocted wines and beer at unbelievably low prices. Only $5 for a glass of wine, and the bottles are an even better bargain. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a flight.
My wife and I stopped here while on a motorcycle ride on US 6 in Pennsylvania. Normally we would be wary of the beer at what we considered a winery, but that caution is not warranted here. The beer was very well done and we appreciated it greatly! Their IPA was a real throwback beer, being only hopped with Centennial and Cascade but was very good. They also had an Imperial Stout mixed with wine that was very tasty. Ellie was very attentive and entertained us with interesting stories...
