Upon arriving At Samario's in Scranton we were politely told by a young waitress they could not accommodate us for dining because it was past their timeframe of 9:00 PM. In disbelief we reasoned it was only three minutes past and asked to speak with a manager. The manager approached and seemed somewhat arrogant and rude by stating if we were just one minute past 9:00 PM we'd be too late. Stunned, we left and decided to spend our money elsewhere. It goes to show you not only do you go out of your way to be loyal customer and patronize a neighborhood restaurant but they'll think nothing of kicking you to the curb as a thanks! I feel the manager could've exercised discretion and better judgement. I will never spend another nickel at either Samarios location and urge family, friends and others not to as well! You've been warned.

I ordered a super Italian hoagie and was greatly disappointed in it. A regular Italian hoagie that order other places is much better and bigger than this.
Their cheesesteak menu sets the bar for any other restaurant. The Miami is my favorite.

My family loves Samario's pizza. Their square pizza is the best! And so filling, I think it's the most economical pizza around. They have so many different kinds of pizza as well. Definitely try the Italian Veggie. The reason I gave it 3 stars is I have learned unfortunately not to bring my younger kids in with me to pick up the pizza. Several times I've been in there and music is playing pretty loudly and the f-bomb is being dropped (in the music) regularly. Just an FYI for anyone concerned families.

Just had the Georgia cheese steak for the third time. Seems to get better every time. If you are looking for something a little different the Georgia cheese steak is the way to go.
