Best coffee drinks in Fayette county, friendly staff AND the owner makes all baked goods--wait for it--FROM SCRATCH (even the take-and-eat dinners like homemade noodles and perogies, stuffed chicken and pot pies!). The breakfast sandwiches with homemade biscuits are AMAZING. They even have a microwave and utensils so you can eat there--and lots of cozy seating. Love this place!

I am really sad to have to make this review. I have been to this and their former location a few times, unfortunately I will not be back after how I was treated today, completely unprovoked. It was really weird to say the least. I just left.
The owner replied, asking for more information so here it is :
I came in with my two children before their class to get myself a cup of coffee and the kids a little treat. When we came in there were a couple of people sitting at the counter and no customers in line. The kids and I didn’t know exactly what we wanted so we wanted to look at the bakery display, the refrigerator cases, and the local art/craft display before getting in line at the register to place our order.
We slowly walked around the center barista area looking at what they had. When we came up to the area where the counter seating was, I turned to glance at the syrup flavors they had while standing beside the little craft display. The single barista immediately began the weirdest chastisement I think I’ve ever experienced at a cafe. She questioned if I had ever been there before. I replied “Yeah. I’ve been to your other location, too.” With a smile. (I was blissfully unaware of what was about to happen and had been happy to get cookies and coffee, and possibly one of crafts).
And then, in response to me, she very pointedly and scathingly pointed out that the register was in the corner and asked “You are aware that this is no longer a bar, right?” At this, the two people at the counter turned to look at us… which was embarrassing. I didn’t know how to respond to that. It was weird. So, i just left quietly and quickly with my kids. I guided them out. Thankfully, my kids are chill and waited until we were outside to ask why we left without treats.
Now I know people reading this probably will assume that I must’ve like rolled out of bed and gone in there like Fayette County’s finest, but we were headed to a piano lesson. All of us were dressed well, with our hair done and makeup on for me. I honestly went back to my car confused and concerned. I looked at my reflection in the side of my suv to see what would trigger her to say that, and found that it was definitely not about me or my children.
We sadly will not be back.

The premium lattes are really good. The scones are so moist and full of flavor. The pepperoni rolls are good with that sweet bread taste. I rented the upstairs for my wedding reception. All the way up until that day the owner Jamie was so wonderful and she made sure to set tables up and chairs and just set up all the areas how we wanted. The day of she helped us with a ice bin and let us cut our rolls on her cutting board. She help with last minute things. She was tip tier amazing and she so sweet and funny. Full personality she has. She wants the best for people. Our wedding reception turned out amazing. The right price and we even tipped her the day after. We did our full cleaning except vacuuming and did all the garbage ourselves. We was fine doing our own clean up because the price was right for renting the upstairs. We bought a speaker and played our music over our phones over the speakers of the balcony. The space is great upstairs and she definitely needs to up her prices on the space to rent. She worked hard steaming the table clothes and the chair clothes, steaming the floors and making it all perfect. She should charge a clean up fee atleast because not everyone is considerate to clean messes up afterwards. But her premium lattes are better than 7brew, Starbucks and Dunkin. The price is perfect. I wanted to add her staff is always so welcoming and nice.

My Hubby and I had date tonight and came to enjoy a class and you did not disappoint!!!We had a great time tonight at our scones class!!! We learned a lot and made some amazing scones!! Always friendly and personable!!! 10000% recommend!!! My hubby got a granny’s apple crisp iced coffee and loved it!!
