Kings and Queens Liberian Cuisine

I was unbelievably pleased with my cassava and plantains. The menu at the ordering POS doesn't have descriptions, but the person taking my order was very patient and helpful. There is a dining area upstairs, but everything is served in takeout ware. The website and menu needs work, but it's totally worth it. Vegan friendly.

Absolutely outstanding! The red snapper and jollof rice were some of the best I’ve ever had—truly one of a kind. Everything was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and seasoned to perfection with amazing flavor in every bite. The customer service was warm, friendly, and attentive, making the entire experience even better. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious food and exceptional service, I highly recommend this place. I can’t wait to come back. Easily a 10/10 experience!

I asked for potato greens and they gave me spinach…this isnt the first time nor am i the only one saying that. SO BEWARE of dishonesty!

food was trash not them trying to give me canned glory greens and say they're potato greens especially since potato greens are wayyy darker and less stemmy .. then they tried to gaslight me... they've fallen off do not eat here y'all.

I ordered potato greens today from this store and received finely chopped collard greens which is very unacceptable and in response to the owner it's shocking that you made that determination before even my uploaded photo that you asked for on yelp but no worries I can see where you're store is going is used to be sooo amazing but that's ok I wont be eating there no more also ... I informed your manager that I'm not the only one that made a review about the being collard greens just so you know and I will be uploading an actual photo of potato greens because I don't think you are aware of what they should look like and gaslighting customers who do is wrong.. but I would hope so.. however I appreciate the timely response.... Also these frequent reviews are concerning you should be responding to them finding paper in their food I see a lot of 1 stars and significant proof but yet you respond to me .. interesting

Website says one thing but when I call in, they’re telling me, the potato greens are $19. We’ve been coming here since 2018 We can no longer afford to eat here… by the way, if you Google it, there was at least four other places within a five minute walk in distance from this location that only sell their potato greens for $12.
Hey y’all I have an update!!!! I made potato greens for myself under $30 and it was enough for five people and the next day I’ll be posting the market I got the potato greens the fish and the goat meat so you guys don’t have to pay $20!

If I could give the food zero stars I would. The lamb was so tough that you couldn’t even eat it! The vegetable samosa was so greasy and not crispy. They were stuck together as if they were old and sitting & reheated. First & last time ever eating here!

Called to speak with management about the food & they kept putting us on hold. Then they stopped answering the phone. NASTY FOOD POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

2/26- the manger did return my call. He stated the quality of food was not up to par, so he remade my exact order. The food was definitely a lot better!

I love their Attieke with Fried Snapper, but I recently placed an order from them through DoorDash (as I always do), waited 2 hrs (went through 6 dashers), just for them to close with my order still pending…No updates, apologies for the delay or anything.

The customer service definitely can be a little bit better .. but I love the cassava here. I just wish I could have only chicken not chicken and turkey.

Today 3/25/26 I visited Kings and Queens for the first time, but the experience felt more like “peasants” than anything close to royalty.
From the moment I walked in, there was no greeting, smile or acknowledgment. I even said hello and still felt completely ignored. As a first-time customer, that already left a bad impression.

I originally planned to order tilapia, which is listed online as $16, but asked about red snapper and thought I was told it was $20. When I arrived, I was told my total was $40. When I questioned the price difference, I was then told that the online menu is “old” and those prices are not valid which should have been clearly communicated from the start.

Instead of resolving the confusion, the staff member became visibly irritated, slammed the food down, sucked her teeth, and insisted she had already told me the higher price. There was no apology, no clarification, and not even a simple “thank you.” She went right back to talking on the phone.
To make matters worse, the food itself was very bland and not properly seasoned definitely not worth $40. I was better off going to Kilimanjaro, Le Mandingue, or Emma’s for better tasting food and customer service.

Customer service and food quality both matter, and unfortunately, this experience missed the mark on both. Definitely not the kind of service or quality you’d expect from a place called Kings and Queens.

Chuck rice gravy Red potato greens all was very nasty No flavor, Rice was stuck together chuck Rice was very dry. I would never eat her again was not impressed about anything. The food was just plain no taste.
