I haven't been to Willie's for years mainly because I moved out of the area. Since then, it was totally remodeled but the food is just as excellent as it always was and I visited there with six other people. Everybody raved about the food and especially the tentative attention we got from our waitress.
Decent restaurant, my fish was good.. service was slow with just two waitresses/bartenders. Waitress was complaining about customers while she was mixing drinks so didn't get a real welcoming vibe.
I have passed by this restaurant for 20+ years and finally went in. Wow! Hidden gem. Big portions, friendly staff. Not fancy but one of those special hole in the wall places. Plenty of expensive vehicles in the parking lot.
