I thought it was a fun, different dining experience in a world where most places feel the same.My critique…I literally had no idea what to do after my dine-in order. I didn’t know what my dining options are. There was a family of 3-4 who stood there as well not sure what to do. It’d be a nice touch if you informed your patrons where they can be seated after ordering and that you’ll be bringing their food. Your servers are in and out of the dining area, but never once do they stop by to check in with anyone dining. They bring your food, and that’s it. I get that they’re busy, and they seem to be wearing many hats taking orders, coffee drinks, and food runners. but one check-in could go a long way to making it a more palatable dining experience. My breakfast sausage was undercooked, and I thought someone might come around to check in, so I waited. And no one ever came. It was raining outside. Am I supposed to carry my plate outside and back into the cafe through the rain after I paid? What did I tip for? To have my order taken and delivered to my table? I just threw the sausage away and moved on. And last thing, while may seem a bit picky, the water did not taste good to me. I’m assuming it was unfiltered tap water and could be improved with a simple low cost water filtration system. This might sound like a joke, but I literally give my plants and dog better, cleaner-tasting water. As a greenhouse, I think you could find a reasonable solution for better-quality water for patrons.This all probably sounds lot of nitpicking to you, but the reality is that you have a unique business that offers a unique dining experience, and I think that these very simple changes in your business model could elevate the overall dining experience and customer service interaction. Better dining experience and improved customer service means more customers and more revenue. I want to see you do well and not fail because of the minor details. I hope to stop back sometime and maybe have a bit of a different experience. I’ll know where to sit next time. I’ll know a staff member isn’t going to come to my table to check in and will walk back to the cafe area to remedy any issues with my meal.Despite these ‘gripes’ I listed, I gave you four stars for a unique experience and because I can tell you’re trying. It’s a small business, and I know labor markets are hard. Hoping it comes across as constructive criticism instead of just being a complainer.Kid-friendliness: Saw kids here. Just keep your eye on them so they don’t get loose in the plant/gift area.”

“Food menu is varied. They are phasing out brisket items which is a shame but there are plenty of other options. Beer is available in flights to try their local brews. Also have mixed drinks and local wines. Service was attentive for an early Saturday afternoon. Ambiance was low key. Music a bit loud but good if you don't want to hear others' conversations. Server told us they are now open Friday & Saturday for lunch and Sundays for brunch.”

“I grew up in Gibsonia, and moved into Squirrel Hill a decade ago. It makes me so happy to see a place like this open up, and bring a different type of food to the area. “Everything here is good. I love the many different delicious flavors, the way they use their ice cream in waffle taco shells or in a delicious twister. The fact that they have online ordering and alot of staff (hard to see nowadays) to make your experience fast, smooth, and delicious. They also have a bunch of different deals or specials to keep the business exciting and fresh. Emmerling ice cream will NOT disappoint. It's a staple to not only the community but the surrounding areas also. They show support for all of the local school districts also.”

“I have been hoping to find a restaurant with Pho near me. Finally, found one. The chicken Pho was excellent. Chicken was sliced thin and was tender. All the herbs and sprouts were fresh. Nice portions.Will be trying other items soon.”

“Was looking for a new place to take the fam for my dad's birthday and stumbled across this place after a little research. It's a little outside of downtown Pittsburgh which is what we wanted because navigating and parking was easy ?As soon as I walked in I loved the atmosphere. Super cool place and hadn't seen anything like it before. It gave a super cool vibe. I also put in a reservation for 11 and we ended up in a private room - didn't ask for it - but more than appreciated that we were kind of closed off in our own space ?Our server was really friendly and on top of everything...giving us details on specials, super on point with service in general, and overall gave an awesome experience. I wish I remembered his name to give a shout-out because I like to give credit where credit is due ?I ordered a full meal here - I will say the clam chowder was ok...not bad but nothing spectacular but I'm still giving 5 stars for everything else I stated above and the rest of the food I ordered. I also got shrimp wontons, which I wish I took a picture cause they were unique and texture was on point and flavor, especially the sauce was great. My main course was there cottage pie, their spin off shepherds pie but with a super flavorful gravy and shaved ribeye with mashed potatoes on top. Everyone at the table wanted it as soon as it arrived and it was awesome! I got a slice of chocolate cake to go which was also really good too ?I'd definitely come back for the atmosphere and to try more of their menu options because I don't think I'd be disappointed - Thank you for a great evening especially on my dad's birthday ?”
