This place was recommended to me by a friend, and it absolutely did not disappoint. Great service, chatted with one of the owners. He shared his families beginnings, starting with his Nana’s exceptional recipes. They use quality ingredients… then they add pure love, respect and consistency in the food that they put forth daily. Great people, great story and great pizza. The dough was light and crispy, a perfect mix so the toppings can shine! Cash only. A definite must if you’re in Verona!

A Penn Hills staple. My father grew up on it. I grew up on it and my kids are growing up on it, even though I live an hour away. Half baked and cook when I get home. A cold Turners and this pizza is heaven for me. Love this place. Good people. Joe Capobianco

I've been going to Della Sala's since it opened - I'm 68 now! It's one of the favorite pizzas around. I usually get it half-baked and finish baking at home or freeze it for a later meal! The cheese is very stringy; family likes the sausage (home made) and pepperoni. It's not what's on the outside but what's on the inside - got to love the boxes stacked to the ceiling. My kids now live out of town but I always get some and take it with us when we visit them. Love this place!
