“First of all I’ve eaten here many times over the years but when you pull in it seems like you’re pulling into a garage area but the food is definitely worth it square cuts with the pepperoni sausage the usual pizza condiments a lot of people like it around here in this area I’m sure you will too. It’s been here since the 50s. It’s a Pittsburgh secret a bit hard to find a little bit out of the way. Old school square cut Sicilian pizza 🍕 The Whole place is contained in a Garage. Very Unique. They are unafraid to experiment with bold, delicious, and unique flavor profiles (I'm looking at you, Sichuan Peppercorn Rice Lager), but have all the staples across the spectrum of types of beer.

Great spot for a quiet hang, great beer, and friendly staff and patrons. Perfect addition to downtown Verona.”

“We stopped for dinner here after a lacrosse game at Fox Chapel . And OMG, I am so glad we did! I had the best burger I think I've ever had. Hubby and son has the brisket, which was also amazing! Olivia was so efficient and cool, and all of the other employees were so friendly. I can't wait to come back!”

“My husband and I have been going to the Village Inn for many years now. Everything we have eaten there has been so delicious from sandwiches to great Italian Food . My favorite is the stuffed crabmeat mushroom appetizer, bruschetta and Chicken Romano. The meatballs and pasta are so good. My favorite dessert is the Tiramisu. I highly recommend the Verona Village Inn.”

“Love this adorable little tiki themed bar! My friends and I occasionally come in from the city to do Karaoke on Sunday nights. The owners are really nice and fun, and the kid that does the karaoke is really cool. I haven't eaten here yet so I can't judge it but my friends usually do and have no complaints. It's generally not that busy on a Sunday night which is nice. I saw some reviews that said it was a smoking bar, but I don't think it is anymore? If it is you can't tell. We always have a blast.”

“I enjoy their food. Shrimp egg foo young is one of my go tos and theirs comes with a gravy that's different than the one the average Chinese restaurant gives its so delicious. The egg rolls are good too and I'm super picky about egg rolls. All in all definitely recommend them”

Harry was super understanding when I told him I’m running late and helped put some pep in my order being produced. Also a very clean environment. I knew going in this experience would make or break my McDonalds commitment. Definitely made it! Well done.”

“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!”

“For six years I have been looking for a new favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh since my old favorite one closed. I have never found a place that had the perfect food and atmosphere I was looking for until I entered Lilith last night. Everything about this restaurant is phenomenal. The service from being greeted to the absolutely awesome server we had was excellent! The food had a wow factor rarely found in Pittsburgh. I’m not usually a huge fan of how vegetables are cooked most places and the veggies in my dish just blew things out of the water. You could tell they were fresh and local too. The fish I had was just amazing. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Needless to say I will be back again and again now to experience more culinary delights!”

“I love the amount of real spices they use in their curries. I can tell that the restaurant has a great quality of food. I am very sensitive to (hot) spices, but I want to enjoy the flavors of Indian food. If I ask for a 0 the spice level feels too hot for me. Last time I came, I asked for them to adjust the spice level to be milder than 0. They were able to reduce the heat in the dish to levels I could handle without reducing the flavor. I have not dined in at this restaurant, but enjoy the ambience of the place. It is clean and the decor is eye catching.”

They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)”
