Although the food is good, I won't be back. Received a lucky prizes scratch card that was refused to be reimbursed. We came back in January for it to be scratched and verified. The waitress gave it to us after she had scratched it and told us it was for BOGO free entree and we had til end of March to use it. Well we returned today March 28 to use it. They refused to honor it as the January server did not punch it. Treated us like we were lying! I've never been so embarrassed. Ruined my meal!! Shame on this business. I will not be returning

Our server was spectacular. She was personable and very knowledgeable about the menu items. When I asked for my steak omelet to be "well done" she replied that she knows the cook very well and he doesn't make runny omelets so she hesitant to make that request on the check for fear it may be over done. My omelet was perfect. Everything was piping hot and the prices are reasonable. Everyone in our party was very pleased with their meals! Highly recommend!!Dietary restrictions: Server was very friendly and had no problem with requests for substitutions.

Perfect classic diner. We were not disappointed. We wished they had iced coffee but we are weirdos like that. The servers were sooooooo nice and friendly and cute. The place was a lot bigger than we realized from the outside. The breakfast was solid. We are carb happy.

I have been going to FSD since they opened. They are the favorite of the whole community because you know you will always receive an exceptional meal from an amazing staff. I always like to take out of town visitors there because I am certain they will be happy.

First time visit to Freedom Square Diner for my sister, niece and myself. We liked the family atmosphere (very similar to Denny's or Eat'n Park). Our server was absolutely wonderful. Friendly & attentive. The food was terrific. We liked the variety of speciality combos. Great coffee! Definitely would recommend based on our first experience here. Would love it if they were open longer.

I have heard a lot about this place since it has been open, some good and some not so good. The main objections seem to be about prices and service. I went in with my eye out for both. They were pretty full and busy but I was seated pretty quickly. Being by myself, I didn't think I'd rate a priority, but I got a table in just a couple of minutes. My server was a blur moving between tables, but she was nice and friendly. I was on a bit of a time crunch, so I was concerned about my order coming out in a timely manner. I ordered breakfast and a tomato juice. I really can't say much about the juice since it is pretty hard to screw up juice. The place was buzzing and not a single surface was empty for very long. It was a moving, efficient operation but included the personal touches that make you feel welcome. My order was pretty simple; eggs over easy, English muffin, hash browns and sausage. I got my order with time to spare and didn't feel rushed to eat. The eggs were done perfectly, which isn't always the case with over easy. I wasn't blown away by the sausage, which was thin patties and salty, but the muffin and hash browns were good. I didn't find the prices out of line, although I didn't expect $4 for a glass of tomato juice. Still, for $15 or $16, it was a good meal. I was impressed enough to leave Brittany a $5 tip. I hope other places reading this don't expect 30% tips like I left here, but I thought it was deserved. My server checked back on me, got my food and check as soon as it was available and smiled the whole time. It was a good experience. I saw a breakfast special before 11, so I may go back and check that out. I overheard that some staff is rotated between a few of their locations which probably keeps things fresh. No one person would become complacent in that atmosphere. I enjoyed the food and the service. I'm only taking away a star because I didn't care for the sausage. I'll try something different the next time.

This was my first visit to the Freedom Square diner. There were four of us and had a variety of breakfast and lunch entrees. The meatloaf sandwich served on Mancini's bread open face with fries and corn was awesome. The strawberry and spinach salad looked delicious, and the salad looked super fresh. Two of our party had the French toast on Mancini bread, which looked (and smelled) incredible. The prices were reasonable, especially given the generous portion sizes. I will return the next time I am in the area.
