Augusto's remains one of the best restaurants in the area. I hadn't been in a few years, but the food is excellent, creatively prepared, and affordable. We had the specials, which were amazing ( lobster bisque—George Perrier's recipe, which I had years ago at Le Bec Fin-the duck, and homemade gnocchi). Delicious. Excellent coffee too ( too full to try dessert!). Very attentive, friendly service. We'll be back!

Valentine's Day Dinner was lovely, the service here is so nice and friendly and the food is always consistent. I typically am not a fan of a limited menu for holidays because I feel most places just do it and jack up prices but Augusto's did a nice job with their 4 course menu for $90 pp- I think it was a nice selection and a fair price. Thank you for a nice Valentine's Day! We will of course be back.

We have been enjoying this place for years, but the Valentine's dinner was not at all what we've come to expect. Onion brulee undercooked, prawn half cooked and half raw, filet ordered medium was still cool in the middle. The service was not bad, just not what it used to be. The food being severely undercooked was a deal breaker.

A group of 10 meet 2X a month and select a local BYOB restaurant. The service was fine. The party next to us had a cackling and loud group, which made it a topic of conversation. The food was good, but portions were small so the value for $160 per couple was not great.

The owner and chef served us personally, and prepared exceptionally delicious fish and steak. We felt that the service was above and beyond our expectations. We had no idea this little spot existed, but we will definitely be back!
Great meal at Augusto's on Madison last night! As always! I want to share a story from a couple of years ago. I had booked a reservation through Open Table. As we were leaving the house to meet our friends, the phone rang and we learned that Open Table made a mistake and the restaurant was closed. They apologized and said that they would make it up to us. When I went on Open Table to book a new reservation for that night (we were walking out the door) the Augusto's reservation disappeared from my account. At that point I thought for sure I would not hear from Augusto's. I was wrong. They had been closed for repairs. Several months later, they called to let me know that they were open, invited the 4 of us back, and comped a fabulous meal! When a local business does the right thing, I think it is important to share. One of our favorites! Give them a try!

Still a first rate dining experience after all these years. Food is always delicious and high quality. Service is always excellent and they make each visit a special evening. Food preparation and presentation is excellent however I've noticed portions are a bit smaller. Also while we love many of the tried and true menu favorites coupled with the specials they offer, would like to see some new items to freshen and change it up a bit. Otherwise it's still a highly recommended go-to and best byo experience in the area by far!

Disappointed in the food overall, veal parm was tough and was sent back, crabcake was good but small portion, duck was overcooked, chicken Marsala was the best dish at our table. Service was very good.
Service was awful the evening of our dinner. In fairness I suspect they were short staffed, but unfortunately it ruined our birthday celebration. Steaks were over cooked, server never came back to check on the meal. When we finally received the desserts menu, we waited over 20 minutes for a new server to take our order. By then we just asked for the check. Very disappointed, we have enjoyed a number of meals here previously but this one was a disaster
