Went to the resturant for a special dinner and apparently chef Augusto was in although we didn't see him. The food was lackluster as was the atmosphere and the most off-putting thing was that the server dumped hot coffee on my husband. I would have expected at the least they'd remove the charge for the coffee, since he wore more then he drank, or make some offer of amends, but there was no offer of anything. Augusto's may not be the most opulent space to dine but it is genuinely a warm and cozy place. Friendly service starts with the chef/owner, Augusto and then onto the rest of the staff.
