La Voglia Italian Restaurant

Went to this restaurant for the 1st time based on a friend's recommendation. We arrived at 6:30 were seated promptly, Given some bread with oil and some water by the busboy. IThere were at least 3 birthday parties there and half full.. It seemed like a lot of regulars as they were attended to promptly by our waiter for everything. We asked for butter and ice at least 3 times. We waited a long time for him to come over and get our order. The meatball appetizer was delicious. Ordered the chicken with crab meat entree which was ok,not a wow. We were not checked on by our waiter the entire time we ate. Waited a long time to get boxes for our leftovers and ask for dessert. Once again we waited and waited for our bill and were ready to pay except the bus boy couldn't do the transaction and the waiter was sitting at another party's table! By that time it was 8:30 and we left the other couple waiting to pay the bill. For better service and food I'd go to Paradise in Jamison.

Service was fantastic food recommendations were great and I loved the food from the gnocchi to the tiramisu, it was a winner! Love this place and I'll be back again for sure. Can't wait to try their pizzas or brick oven pieces look superb.
Definitely get the pasta. It's all homemade

Great local dinner spot. I was nervous with a shellfish allergy and the numerous shellfish dishes on the menu. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about allergies and helped guide us to choices that would be safe and assured us the kitchen would make things separate. He also checked back in often to be sure there were no signs of a reaction. The staff, including the manager, were friendly and welcoming. They made everyone feel like family. The food was delicious. Make reservations. This restaurant is busy for a reason.

Amazing as always! Service was amazing! Dario is a fanatic server, food was delicious! And we were surprised with dessert for our anniversary! I highly recommend La Voglia to all my friends!
