Been awhile since I popped into Mikes, and tonight happened to be quizzo night. If I had know, I would’ve shown up earlier to crush it. Dinner was solid, and the bartender was a good time. I’ll be bald more frequently than every 4 years
Did a take-out order: Steak bites were okay, but the side salad was not good since it was in a to-go container with the hot steak bites. The fries were soggy. I picked it up in less than the time they requested and ate them right away when we got home. Also they did not honor the half price items advertised on their website. He stated they were in-house specials only, but no where does it state that on the advertisement. I think I would have been okay with not honoring the price...
What happened to this place? About ten dollars for a crock of French onion soup- figured it would be a solid serving like other restaurants in the area so I forewent the cup and went straight for the crock. I think I was given a cup? If this is the size of the crock, this is incredibly disappointing.
