Bagels are great, back of house worker don't really know what they are doing. Breakfast sandwiches wrapped in used aluminum foil that's too small for sandwich. Drink station not cleaned. My advice: Just grab a dozen bagels, cream cheese and go home!

So sad to see a place go downhill after a change in ownership. I went in last week and there were only kids working and it was so disorganized and dirty. It makes me so sad---Now we need a new place. Why buy a business and let it tank when it was so perfect before they bought it?

Just returned from a very disappointing trip to Village Bagel. I hadn't been there in a long time and was looking forward to the delicious four cheese panini. My panini was cold and not melted at all. It used to be a yummy grilled cheese with caramelized onions. It is now a few slices of cold cheese, tomato and a couple of onions. Didn't appear to be grilled or warmed at all. The store looks different too. It was not as clean and things were untidy. An employee was vacuuming at 12:30pm. Why? It closes at 3:00. Why would you vacuum when there is a customer there? This place used to be packed on a Sunday at lunch. I was the only one there while I waited for my order. One more customer came in before I left. Two employees (teens) were horsing around, one on the other's back walking around the store laughing. The owner/manager (I'm assuming he's the owner/manager) came out from behind the counter and sat down with another employee close to his age (his wife?) to eat his lunch. That struck me as unprofessional, especially with a customer in the store. I suspect Village Bagel is under new ownership. After this experience I will go elsewhere for my bagels and sandwiches. It's a shame.

I placed an online order for sandwiches and a fountain soda to go . When I arrived, the sandwiches were ready and in the bag, but there wasn't a cup for the soda. I politely asked the man behind the counter (the new owner?) for a cup for the fountain soda and he actually rolled his eyes at me! No welcoming words, no thank you, not a word. Rude and dismissive. The tuna melt was meh. I have been a customer of Village Bagel for a couple of years, but I will not be going back. Sad...

The new owners of village bagel are awful. Very discombobulated in the shop. We got two breakfast sandwiches and they didn’t use fresh eggs. They were powdered and we received two everything bagels that were gooey and uncooked. Wish the old owners were back because the new ones don’t know what they’re doing nor they’re selling quality products. Someone could get sick. The health department should come in and investigate.

Not the same with the new owners. Store has gotten very dirty. I watched a worker in the kitchen very poor hygiene. Mini muffin was stale and food quality has gone down hill. Such a shame I used to love this place. Save your money and skip it. I was wondering why the parking lot was so empty and now I know it’s the new owners.

I am so sad to report that I think this place is under new management and is no longer the quality establishment it once was. I went in a few weeks ago after having not been there in a few months. The lights were all off in the shop (were they closing early? Trying to keep customers out? Trying to save money?) when I walked in and the tables and floors looked dirty. This was not the case just a few months ago, which is why I think management is new (also, other reviews seem to confirm this). My sandwich smelled funny, like the meat might be on the older side and the bagel was tiny. I didn't even eat it because I worried it wasn't fresh and I definitely don't want to mess with meat or fish that's not properly kept. Please don't cut corners on freshness, cleanliness, and quality; the original owners were lovely and took a lot of pride in their business. For so many years, this used to be one of my favorite spots when visiting the area. Based on my last experience, I would be a little nervous to eat there now.

Service has declined with new management. Forgot online order 2 times, had to wait 20 more minutes, and then got the order wrong. Sadly, we won't be back.

Sandwiches are fake eggs, so disgusting tasting, just sell bagels and no sandwiches. There was also a blonde hair on my bagel sandwhich, none of the girls have hair nets on either. Yuck, first and last time trying :(

Get there bagels all the time. Best around. Just finished a cheddar bagel and it was quite possibly the best bagel I have ever eaten. And I’ve eaten a lot of bagels!

Really really disappointed in this place!! We used to go here all the time. My family and I absolutely loved the breakfast sandwiches because the bagels were so good and they loaded it with perfectly scrambled eggs. But new owners took over recently and it's like they don't know how to make bagels anymore!! They tasted like bland bread more than bagels. It went from scrambled EGGS (plural) to one over-done egg on each sandwich. The bacon in my daughter's sandwich tasted "off" which is usually an indication of using VERY cheap bacon.Additionally, they screwed up our order as well as the customer next to us. We didn't get each other's order. We both got totally different sandwiches than we ordered! The owners really need to step up their game. Get a real baker in there who knows how to make old school Jewish Deli style bagels. Whatever that was I ate. It was NOT a bagel!! And they need to rethink the quality of the meat they are using.

This place must have new owners. Their vegetable cream cheese is not the same and things look a lot different. (new staff, new ice cream case). Will get my bagels at Borough Bagels in Doylestown from now on.

I did an order online with a pick up time of 11:04. I got there at 11:05 and my order wasn’t ready. The girl at the register was extremely rude. I said I ordered dog bagels and she said one second. She went to the bag came back and went to put the dog bagels in the direct bag without putting them into a small bag. Had to wait another 10 minutes for a chocolate chip bagel with cream cheese and cheddar bagel with butter. The place has a terrible odor and very dirty. Definitely has gone downhill. All the staff is rude. We will definitely NOT be going back there!!!!!
