Village Bagel is officially my go to bagel spot! The staff is ALWAYS super friendly, and they get your order out so fast without ever making it feel rushed. I’m obsessed with the jalapeño bagel and spinach artichoke cream cheese (best cream cheese ever), it’s amazing. If you’re nearby, do yourself a favor and check it out!🤩
The new ownership may say that they are using the old recipe, but they must have changed suppliers. The bagels are tasteless, probably cheaper flour and no barley malt. When buying a business, trying to save money is normal, but not on ingredients. Quick way to lose your investment money. I would go back to past suppliers and not save money on ingredients. A few years ago I received a gift card for Village Bagel Company. I do not live in the area I have many times traveled 45 minutes to get these most delicious huge bagels. I am hooked. They freeze well. What a gem of a place. All the bagels are my favorite.
