It is always an enjoyable experience. Great food, nice & simple atmosphere to enjoy a good meal and chill out. BYOB is an added bonus!
Vegetarian options: Some decent options.

Very good food, especially the eggplant parmesan and always some really good specials to choose from. Not a great atmosphere as the space is small and a bit awkward. Very expensive all things considered. BYOB makes it somewhat bearable.

A great, quiet out of the way restaurant with excellent food and service. It was the first time for my wife and I and we absolutely loved it.

I was there on a Friday night with six other dining companions. The restaurant was busy which did not compromise the service.

Unfortunately, the chicken dish was very tough and had to be sent back. The Bologenase was just ok. Our server was most accommodating.

We reserved for an early meal on Mother's day. The restaurant itself is a quaint and lovely building and it is a picturesque part of town. Or was especially beautiful in mid spring. Our waitress and the entire wait staff were courteous and attentive. The meal was delicious. As soon as we walked through the entrance we were greeted by the wonderful scent of the whole wheat garlic bread wafting in the air. I highly recommend everyone to try this garlic bread; it's so good! We started with a simply dressed fresh arugula & fennel salad that my mom and I shared. The restaurant brought it out on 2 plates. My main, eggplant parm was so unique and scrumptious! An unbreaded version, constructed of very many eggplant layers. It was a large portion served on its own, without pasta but I found that I didn't miss or need the pasta , still having leftovers to take home. We finished with a delightful tiramisu and espresso. Would definitely revisit this place, as we will be dreaming of that garlic bread. PS it's bring your own wine too so come prepared.

When hosting guests from Europe, this restaurant turned out to be a complete embarrassment! It was a BYOB and BYOF (bring your own floor) situation! We were seated in a dirty, patched tent beside a noisy heating pipe, with our table placed on gravel with immovable, uncomfortable chairs. The servers were chewing gum, wearing stained polos, and the menu is overpriced; lobster ravioli lacked any resemblance to lobster and a sauce that looked like vomit. And this is Washington Crossing? Please!
