What a delightful experience! The Inn is lovely and the seating spaces are very nice.

All of the food we had was incredible!! We ordered flatbread and vegetable tempura for apps - both delicious! Their bread was to die for, it was heated and very soft and yummy!

Our meals were excellent! We ordered the Chicken Schnitzel, Prime Rib and Flounder with Crab Stuffing! All were amazing!

Lastly, we shared 2 desserts - Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter cake and the Coconut Mousse Cake. Both were absolutely divine!

Overall a wonderful dining experience!!

One of my favorite local spots. Small inside bar but modern and nice. Fairly large outside bar, nice in good weather with oytside seating for foood and beverages. Food choices are above average, reasonable prices. Service on and off again. Depends when you come, how busy, staff. Service is a little inconsistent.

It’s a lovely old inn and tavern from the 1800’s. The food is exceptional and the dining room is nice. The bar area is worth hanging around. I recommend the happy hour in the outside gardens bar.

Make sure you call EARLY in the morning 48 hours before or the Chef will turn down your reservation for their very expensive high tea! I called this morning, January 18th at approximately 11 AM for a high tea reservation for this Tuesday, January 20th. As the Inn requires 48 hours notice and the high tea hours start at 1:30 PM. After stating that I wanted to make a high tea reservation I was placed on hold for approximately 4 minutes. When the receptionist finally came back to the phone I was informed that she would take a high tea reservation for another Tuesday as it was too late to take one for this Tuesday. I mentioned that I was calling within 48 hours of the time they required for high tea reservations and that it was for a birthday celebration. Then the receptionist said that it needed to be called in the morning. So I mentioned to her that it was the morning and she said the Chef takes high tea reservations EARLY in the morning. But that they would take a lunch reservation for this Tuesday! Are you kidding me? So what time do you require reservations to be made? 48 hours or some other specific, random time??? The high tea hours start at 1:30 PM snd I was calling at approximately 11 AM, BEFORE 48 hours for a birthday celebration and you wouldn’t take the reservation? And then asked if I wanted to make a lunch reservation or have high tea on another day!!! Your temperamental Chef can keep his high tea and lunch!!! I guess business must be booming. Not from me!! No Thanks!!!

The meal was absolutely outstanding. I tried the Mango salad with grilled shrimp, and it was perfectly balanced and bursting with flavor. Every bite was fresh and delicious, making it one of the best dishes I have had in a long time.

Cool & cozy place. Very nice holiday decorations, too. If you are at all into the history, you'll have an added plus--the park is within walking distance. We had brunch. I would love to try the dinner menu. Cheers to General Washington!

This is my family’s “special occasion” restaurant whenever we have something to celebrate, because it’s beautiful, the food is always excellent and the service is really attentive, friendly and accommodating. My family of 8 comes for a holiday dinner every December because it’s the most festive and beautiful place to dine. I recommend this restaurant completely.

Dear Christina and Danielle, the Martha Vineyard’s Room was beautiful for our memorial luncheon! The food was so delicious! Everyone loved it!
I couldn’t end this day without letting you know how pleased the family was with the service, the food, and the hospitality of everyone. It was perfect!

We've dined inside and outside, both are enjoyable experience. The food quality is consistently good as well as the service. When we are looking for a comfortable outdoor experience on a warm summer night this is our go to spot.
