This could be the best restaurant in Washington. I can’t say enough good things about it! Exceptionally fresh ingredients, fantastic friendly service, roasted lamb (!!!), espresso drinks made with care, beautiful location, the list goes on! A++++++

Decided to try this place out for a date with someone. I of course had to be that annoying customer who asks about every coffee, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I finally decided on the cortado with baklava syrup and it exceeded the coffee game. The presentation of it was beautiful and every sip was an amazing experience. My date and I both got gyros with the lamb and we LOVED them. This place was perfect, the welcoming and warm staff, the classy environment that set the tone for our date, the new coffee experience, and the amazing food made our time together there picture perfect. Thank you kouzina, I will definitely be coming back!

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Delectable bakery treats, beautiful Latte art, and espresso that was good enough to write home to mom about.

After reading an above review, decided to try Kouzina today. It was everything the review said and I wholeheartedly agree with everything that was said in prior reviews. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The presentation of the food looks as good as it tastes with a laid back and enjoyable atmosphere.I look forward to eating/ having coffee there in the future.Kouzine is great addition to the Washington PA restaurants/ coffee shops.I guess it should mention what we had. Our lattes were presented "picture" worthy with unusual offerings differing from most menu's, and in 1 word, DELICIOUS! We both got seasonal salads with the butternut squash and beets. One of us with additional protein and one without. The dressings were also very good and the portions were ' hearty'. I look forward to trying other items on the menu which are limited at this time, however a nice assortment to choose from! Only thing is make sure you bring quarters for the street parking!Parking: Parked on the street in metered parking. Not sure if there are any free areas around there, I wouldn't think so ,but there might be.

My coworker suggested I try out Kouzina because their food is so fresh and their teas are lovingly crafted. Upon getting there I saw an add for the Peach Cobbler Cream Soda and I had to try it. It was amazing. Fizzy and creamy, tasted exactly like the soul-nourishing sweet pie. The alchemist who made it and the lovely woman who took our order at the counter were so sweet and upbeat that I felt right at home. The mustached alchemist was so excited to give me my drink. I felt like he really was stoked for me to have the concoction. Infectious enthusiasm will get you everywhere. The ambiance of this place is beautiful! Peaceful, clean, the tile floors have so much history and character. Their menu may be simple but everything tasted fresh and made with love. The red rooibos iced was perfect. The green salad was good and I felt like I made a healthy choice. Next time I'll have to get the squash harvest salad that all my coworkers are obsessed with!

Best coffee in Washington, hands down. Q is passionate about his craft, and such a fun, genuine person. I have moved all my business coffee meetings here, and I cannot wait to catch a lunch next! Be sure to try his signature aero-press Ethiopian!

This is a hidden gem in Washington ! Service was over the top excellent! They made recommendations that didn't disappoint, checked on us multiple times to ensure our visit was seamless ! The granola was top notch so they gave me some to take home on the house ! I will be back to try lunch and will recommend. Support local !!

The coffee is amazing! Now I don't have to drive to Pittsburgh to get this next level of coffee. The staff was so friendly and the overall experience was so enjoyable. A must go place!

The Greek salad with Chicken is really out of this world. Packed with roasted red peppers (olives but I left them off) pitas, a half of lemon fresh greens and more! The Greek dressing is the best I've ever had! I also had their cream of mushroom soup once and it was outstanding! I just have 1 complaint: it's only open until 2:00 Tuesday -Friday. Please extend your hours. I've been thinking about this salad since Friday afternoon and I'm bummed to have to wait till Tuesday!

Quaint little bistro adjoined to the George Washington hotel but with its own street entrance. I picked up lunch here today for myself and my friend. We shared the spanakopita and braised beef grilled cheeses. The menu is small and to the point. Food was ready when I picked up. There are just a few tables for dine in. Prices on the online menu weren't totally accurate, the beef grilled cheese was $11 instead of $9 as shown online. I LOVED the spanakopita grilled cheese, would for sure order again. The salad was good, wasn't really a fan of the chips, they were pretty plain. The beef grilled cheese I wasn't particularly a fan of. The meat is like a roast, but was very dry. The sandwich also had hardly any toppings on it as described on the menu and only had the tiniest bit of aioli making the sandwich very dry. I also asked for a side of tzatziki and silverware; when I picked up, the cashier assured me they were in there but when I got back to work I found out they weren't. Overall probably 3.5 stars. I'd like to try their gyro and hummus plate, and maybe that would give me a better idea of Kouzina as a whole. I also wish they had classic Greek restaurant offerings like dolmades or classic spanakopita. They're only open from 11-2 Tuesday-Friday. Street parking if you're lucky enough to snag one during the weekday, or there is parking in front of the GW or a big lot down the block.

So ordered online because I was in a class. Needed something quick. Informed order would be ready by 12:00-12:05. Nothing major a hummus plate and cup of soup. I had to wait until 12:15 to get my order when people were walking in ordering and getting take out faster. Then when I get back to my training I find my order was incorrect and got a cheeseburger instead. Slow and incorrect is not a way to run a restaurant.
