Markook has been a solid and consistent experience of good food and kindness for years. They always serve quality and keep the restaurant spotlessly clean. The bbq chicken shawarma signature wrap is incredible.

We stopped in from out of town for a take-out lunch. The staff are kind and personable, the restaurant is clean, and, most importantly, the food is excellent! The chicken shawarma was wonderfully flavorful. All the food is fresh and clearly made with care. We would gladly stop in again if we're in the area.

I used to frequent this place....I was waiting to order and the male comes out and is giving the female grief because she put too much Tabulee on the customers plate ...The male then scrapes the excess of both plates...I say to the female he must not of liked how you did it? (jokingly) The male got sooo mad said are you here to criticize me or eat.....I said neither now and walked out the door

We stopped in on a whim on our road trip with no knowledge of the area. What a wonderful surprise! Very friendly owners/operators - taking time to explain the menu and even tips on the best way to mix and enjoy the platter. Food was so flavorful and everything cooked perfectly. My wife absolutely loved the hummus. Only regret is we live hundreds of miles away…

I really enjoy their food but I always felt they needed an extra side. The tabouli is just ok (I pick out the tomatoes and toss the rest) and I’m not crazy about chickpeas. So I asked about what looks like a marinated tomato and onion salad. I was told that everyone wants it but you can only get it as garnish on the wrap. If everyone is looking for a marinated tomato salad type dish, then make one!
