Friends asked us to join them for dinner and gave us the name and address of this restaurant. When we pulled into the parking lot we were a bit surprised. The adage “ don’t let the first impression be your deciding factor”, was in play. We were warmly greeted and seated at our table while awaiting the rest of our party. The wait staff person greeted us and took our drink order, and left the menus fir us to browse. This is a seafood restaurant, and the choices were very interesting. The rest of our party arrived, again the wait staff greeted them and took their drink order. My wife picked a single crab cake with Hush Puppies and French Fries, and I picked Seared Scallops, with broccoli and a Caesars salad. I don’t like broccoli, but I just loved there preparation of broccoli. The scallops were seared just right and the perfect seasoning on them. The crab cake was packed with nice pieces of crab, and tasted great.

This place has went downhill tremendously. Rude and inattentive staff. Food was horrible. Tasteless and overpriced. When we stated the food was tasteless, the server laughed and walked away. Asked to speak to a manager after paying the bill. Waited 5 minutes and no one came. As we were leaving, the hostess assaulted my date, claiming we didn’t pay. Escalated by her erratic, we demanded to see the manager. The owners relative showed up and further escalated the situation with accusations and pointing fingers. When we left, the “manager” yelled at us through the entry of the restaurant. All around bad business and really used to enjoy this place.

An intimate place to eat. Food was enjoyed by everyone in our group. Good service. I'm sure we will go back.

Great pasta and seafood dish. Open restaurant with plenty of parking. Friendly staff. I loved my shrimp and scallop pasta with sun dried tomatoes with Swiss char. A great dish with everything I wanted and plenty of food. The fried shrimp tacos with mango were also very good.

Good food I had the seafood platter. Very tasty. My wife had garlic shrimp..Very good as well. Service was great...very attentive. Lemon cake and cheesecake for desert...both very fresh, tasty and light.

Good Friday dinners are a tradition in my family. We visited Solomon's on what is one of the busiest seafood days of the year and we were fortunate to get a table. Everything was wonderful. I had the shrimp & crab romesco. It was a generous portion of a very flavorful dish.

The large fish sandwich had fish stacked two pieces high!

We go all over Washington county for fish and after yesterday they get my vote for the #1 fish sandwich. Normally the coleslaw is great as well but this time it was dry. I should have told them scoop from the bottom but oh well. Get there by 5 during lent if you want to dine in unless you don't mind a long wait.

Pretty alright food. I didn't have any problems with mine. The folks I was with didn't love theirs but I feel like seafood is sometimes like that. It's not always as standard as some other types of food. It can vary wildly from place to place. Our server was pretty nice and attentive.

I got really really bad food poisoning I was throwing up for days it was the worst I’ve ever had! Very bland fries no seasoning or anything to crisp to them nothing no salt but for some reason even when I put salt and pepper on them it just wouldn’t taste good but then the crab shrimp rescatto was way OVERLY seasoned and not really good especially for the price and it said crab lumps but it wasn’t no lumps in it just little bits of shreds of crab couldn’t even taste the crab very very small selection of food

1st time Experience, the waiter rushed me to order my meal due to the fact a large family of 8 ordered before me, very disapointed in the way the menu is i feel there should be a larger selection of crab and lobster on the menu…….. maybe its me but i feel like the meal is going to be just as bad.

We have NEVER had a bad meal there. My husband had the baked seafood platter and couldn't get over HOW amazing it was.

Had a great experience with the January wine & beer dinner. Really great five course meal with pairings. Paige and Ben show the passion they have for food and spirits, how they are proud of their business, and appreciate a great team that they lead.

I want to start by saying we chose Solomon's because of the quality of the fresh seafood they offer consistently. But our dining experience last night, Friday December 17th was less than enjoyable!!! It was busy, but usually so when we dine there on a weekend. Our issue was our server Tori. She was super LOUD and obnoxious....calling us Boo and words we've never been addressed as grown elder adults. She was having some sort of conflict with her co-workers and keep talking about it in front of us which is totally unprofessional. She was "running around" in a noticable frenzie to tables, (again they were packed.) We had taking friend of ours to dine with us the first time and they were so uncomfortable they will never be back. There were too lovely ladies dining in the booth behind us, whom had a different server and they told us that every time she came to our table they couldn't hear each other !? Just a very poor, uncomfortable experience. On a good note, the food was decent though we waited longer than we've ever had too. Bottem line- Come on Solomon's, you're better than this level of service!!!

We usually love the food...I tried something new tonight...Clam strips...looked good but so tough .. It was like chewing a rubber tire. The small ones were eatible. I came in for peel n eat shrimp but they were not available. Our waitress was wonderful.
