This is a great little place to catch up with a friend, have a meet and greet for a date or a business lunch. The best thing is the coffee of course and the knowledge the staff has. The cashier even told me the brand of press they use so I can recreate the experience at home with the loose bags of coffee they sell. Naturally the coffee may be a little pricier with the economy, but it’s excellent quality (no chicory mixed in to save money) if you’re a diehard coffee drinker. You get what you pay for as they say.

It's a great place to sit and get work done. I had a gluten free pumpkin scone and it was wonderful to have a gf option, they have several. It wasn't my favorite gf baked good (it was pretty hard) . But I'd go there again and get the same thing because it's always a treat to get something sweet out that I didn't bake myself.

I've got food here before and it was fine. Today I got my daughter a bacon,egg, and cheese sandwich and the eggs were all brown, burnt, and hard. Did you look at this sandwich before you wrapped it and served it to me?? Not good!

Hidden little gem in downtown Washington. The interior is beautiful, service is always excellent. The lavender latte is my go to. Today I tried the bacon and egg breakfast sandwich, and it was to die for!!
Great people. Great coffee and a great atmosphere. Sandwiches are very good. Better than starbucks coffee in my opinion and the prices are lower. Far better to support local business.
