A group of us walked over after a workout class on Saturday at 6:30. There were a few tables taken outside, 2 taken tables inside and 2 people sitting at the bar. They said probably would be a long wait for food. We told them we could just do a few drinks and he said that it would probably still be long waits for drinks and recommended we go to Union Grill. I guess that was my first and last time going there.
This place has great food. The wood fired pizzas are all good! We LOVE the loaded fries. The beer cheese is delicious. I think the food here is a hidden gem. Every time we go there, it’s empty and that surprises me. Maybe they need better advertising? I do think that if a place isn’t consistently busy that servers will move on. Waitress wage being $2.83 per hour still? This amazes me. Our server was Amanda and she was great.
I recommend the establishment but not for the meal I received. The server did an amazing job for being the only one there and was very pleasant… Thank you! The inside was very clean and aesthetic. The wood fired build your own pizza was delish. I got the pulled pork without the sauce and bun… (dietary restrictions) with the grilled zucchini. The zucchini was amazing but the pulled pork was like eating straw
