Typical small town bar. Bartenders have always been nice when I've gone. Food has been pretty good from what I've gotten so far. Typical bar menu wings, burgers, pizza, munchies etc... if you are in the area worth stopping in for a bite or a cold beerWheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp.
We LOVE the pizza and wing special on the weekends! The wings are the best around! A1 & Honey and Buffalo Parm are our favorite sauces!

Nice, very clean, roomy local friendly place. You have to give your order to the bartender, so service is a bit slower. But the food was good. Not huge portions, but large enough to be filling. I had the special of the night, fish fry during lent and my husband had a hamburger. Menu is on the smaller side, but there is enough choices to satisfy anyone. The appetizer menu had plenty of of choices. Plent if beer selection, but the draft selection is limited to two. If you are in the area, you will not be disappointed. Friendly staff and clientele.

Ordered food this evening what we ordered missing kids meal and missing sides that were never placed on bill. Also one items was still frozen do instead of calling to let us know and have the option to change it and get something else with other food. They notified us when we arrived to pick up the order that they couldn't make it. This not the first time that something has happened. This place has gone down hill and it use to feels homey. We have decided not to return.

The Village Tavern is our go-to spot for fantastic food and convenient takeout service. We've actually never dined in, but when it comes to pizza, wings, and fries, this place is a winner. The burgers and fries are great. Go for the half pound burger. The appetizers are unique and good.Did the zucchini planks and the mixed for apps.The other food is good too. Great for lunch or dinner. Smoke free.They updated the door frame to the bar.Great price. So glad it is smoke free. If you are leaning toward family friendly....I would say to watch the F... word. We were there before supper hour and the F... words were flying. I know it is hard to control but the owner was the one I could hear. Thank God there wasn't any kids in there.

Used to be an awesome local bar, but since the new owners have taken over, the food has went completely downhill service is lacking. I just wish things would never change nothing personal against the owners. I just think they need to invest into their local community. Bring back the old bar that most locals loved.
