Amazing lunch at the Waterville Hotel! Fast and friendly service; delicious and fresh food; great menu; cozy and quaint! We will be back!

I had ordered the salmon rare and received it well done. So returned it for another, that one was also well done. I now ordered something else. A few minutes later the chef come out and said “I served you one order, and you returned it, I served you a second and you returned it. Both orders were cooked to 145°F. I am not serving you; I am done.” I guess if your preference for salmon is how it comes in a can you maybe happy with his.

We had a nice dinner and spent the night in the inn. It was quiet and clean, but was more expensive than any place we stayed this trip.

Great place to refresh on the road. Bicycles, motorcycles, and 4 wheeled cages too! Try the IPA and the menu is quite varied.

Stopped for lunch, both of us had Fish & Chips. Excellent, huge portions. Service was fast and very friendly, old maps and photos of the area are very cool. Very clean, highly recommended.

They did it again! We are able to visit about once a year and are never disappointed. The 5 star review is well earned. We arrived at 11:15 so it wasn't busy yet. We were seated by a very friendly waitress. She was so patient with me and answered all of my questions. I had the italian chicken and I said "MMM" with every bite. The chicken was so tender and flavorful. Banana peppers gave it just the right kick. The side salad was full of vegetables and their homemade sweet and sour dressing was delicious! We also had the Happy Hiker burger done medium well. It was a little pink and very juicy, just perfect! Oh my gosh...the wild mushrooms were outstanding. The flavors went so well together and you could still taste the delicious hamburger. The delicious, crispy French fries were skin on and had an amazing herb coating. We were so full that there was no room for dessert...hopefully next time♡

Went specifically for dinner and a martini. Online menu had a variety of drink options but when we were seated we were told they are no longer available. The new management, which is not that new, discontinued them. I don't have a problem with that but I do have a problem with the fact they remain on a menu when you google WH menu. I had fish and chips. It was very disappointing. Picked off as much of breading as I could because it was so heavy and greasy. I'd give our waitress top rating, very pleasant and efficient.

First visit here and we will definitely be back! Excellent and quick service, food was delicious, and atmosphere is beautifully done! Don't forget to ask for your complimentary chips!

We were greeted, and the hostess/waitress/bartender was nice and sat us as soon as we walked in. My mom ordered a burger with fries and I ordered the crab cakes. The burger was good and the waffle fries were amazing! The crab cakes were extremely fishy tasting. I had 2 bites and my mom took a bite and she couldn't eat it either. All I was a le to eat was the potato that came as the side. They did offer something else but I was already put off with the fish taste. When the bull came it was 50% off so I paid $8 for a baked potato. I did try to ask her if I could just pay the al a carte price which would have been $4 for the potato, however she said that she couldn't do that.
