Waymart Hotel Reviews
We just can’t get our timing right!! Always stealing away to the Waymart, off-season. We’ve HEARD, that they have an incredible outdoor grill setup…We’ve HEARD, that the Wrangler BBQ pit was custom made in Indiana…We’ve HEARD, that the cherry and applewood smoked meats are on display under their pavilion….But We’ve only been able to TASTE their winter options; an award-winning tray of Old Fashion square (sweeter sauce, two cheese blend), a toasted Cuban with seasoned...read full review
Changed their pizza. Ordered a pizza with sausage. Some pieces didn’t have any sausage on them at all. Sausage is also different. Very disappointed.
RECOMMEND if you want your meal ruined and get ignored and leave hungry! Awful experience! Rude staff! Ignored us for almost an hour and would not bus open tables. We cleaned our own and got ourselves cutlery and menus. They ignored us longer and left us at a filthy table while others came in and were served. They said they were understaffed . Waymart Hotel is a popular spot known for their BBQ, with incredible food and large portions. The brisket is sliced thin, but the pork is much better. The prices are a bit high, and there are no sauce options at the table. However, the sides, including the highly recommended butter and onion pierogis, are good. The venue features beautiful upgrades, making it a great place to hang out with friends. On busy days, the servers are attentive and friendly, even during events like the opening car cruise. The outdoor deck is a favorite spot for many, and the covered patio in the back offers a nice dining experience. The atmosphere is historic, and the place is well-organized, ensuring a pleasant visit for families and diners alike. They serve tasty meals, like BBQ chicken and brisket sandwiches, along with delicious potato pancakes. It is a no-frills place with great food, perfect for filling meals when options are limited. The owners keep it updated to create a great atmosphere for everyone, and the friendly staff make the experience even better. The place is also known for its classic cars and bikes, adding to its charm.
