Had my husband's 80th birthday party this past weekend. We used to have family get togethers there . Well.......new owners, new experience. And not a good one! The owner was downright rude over the phone before the party. They charged us the price of the buffet for people who did not eat but just had drinks. Overcharged for the room (×2 from orginal quote at time of booking ). Was whispering with some of the wait staff when we were around. Really??? Hoping you are enjoying each other's company because we will not be back. I have never written a negative review before, but I want to spare frustration for others planning a get together.

We went for a family dinner (about 8 of us) the two Saturdays before Christmas and all but one of us got sick. The place was virtually empty besides us. Fast forward to today. We attended a birthday party at Keystone Diner but did not eat. They charged the party hosts for both of us as if we had eaten. Since they charged them for our meals, I asked if we could have a to go box with our meals and we were told no they do not allow that. Well they cut their noses of to spite their faces because not only will I never go there again, I will make sure everyone I know doesn't frequent there and knows how abysmal their customer service is and how my family got sick from eating there.

The food has ALWAYS been on point ! Very good and tastes like the BEST HOME-COOKING food from ANY restaurant around ! If you aren't a buffet person - the menu is a great choice ?. We ❤️ it at Keystone always !! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ always !!
Food is not great like it used to be it was cold they don't have a big selection if you ask me I don't think it's home style anymore hardly anyone there even on a Sunday my husband's milk was stale and sour my soda was

My experience on Sunday, Feb 11, 2024, I felt like the people in the area are not use to seeing people of color in their establishment! Some of the food did not look fresh, the plates were not clean, when I mentioned it to a staff member she quickly got an attitude!! She stated “ It is only a crumb on the plate”but would you eat off a dirty plate? After going back to the buffet I found another plate that it was dirty but a different staff member did take the plate back in a respectful manner. I just felt out of place at this restaurant. I would give the young lady who waited on us a 5 star because she was friendly and very in tuned to our needs & the lady who checked us out was very kind! They both are definitely a role model for the rest!

Then it became under New Management and they no longer have potato soup without meat in it, they're macaroni and cheese tasted like the Frozen Stauffers so I quit going for a while and just ventured back last week. They still have limited vegetarian options but they have a nice salad bar with boiled eggs and their macaroni and cheese was as good as before. So I'll go back again.

We live in Wyoming now but have to make at least one stop at Keystone when we are in town. BEST fried chicken ever!We love seeing Ruth smiling at the front door to seat us and Val is the best waitress!
Went for breakfast buffet on 12/23/23 very expensive for the low quality of food , biscuits were stone COLD on inside and they just brought them out , breakfast potatoes were Luke warm at best and very soggy , gravy was good , sausage ok and pancakes were very small and tough , we were there at 9 so it wasn't like we were at the end of service , mentioned COLD biscuits to our server and she said that's the way they always do it , offered to warm them up but but I said if that's how you do it don't bother , had 2 more like and one tea and it was $36.?? & tip made it over $42.00 for a horrible meal used to be good food , cashier asked how it was told her and she said could order off menu next time , I said why if you serve cold food what's the difference , stay away that's why it's not busy anymore , go down the street were everyone's going

Thought we would treat ourselves to dinner at a place that always has an empty parking lot and now we know why hardly anyone comes here. Had the buffet and for two people the bill was over $50! Prices for buffet were not posted or told to us. Bland food that was hours to multiple days old. Things were crunchy that shouldn't be crunchy and soft that should have been firm. Yuck. Should have left after just seeing the spotted silverware on the table. Wait staff was polite to your face but whispering about us with coworkers. Will not return.

Always have an enjoyable experience at Keystone Family Restaurant. Check your plates for cleanliness, kids washing dishes don't do a great job.
