Hometown cooking.Honestly, Rose's is our favorite place to go for breakfast. The portion sizes are more than appropriate. The staff is wonderful. The food is delicious. If you ask for the homemade toast, you won't be disappointed. It's a best kept secret, honestly. Service is pretty quick. Depending on the time of day, you may have to wait for a seat. But you never sit with an empty coffee cup or without a feeling of being appreciated for being there.
I was really hungry after driving for 5 hours straight on no breakfast. So when I saw this little diner I immediately hit the brakes, pulled in the gravel parking lot, and went in to eat. I'm glad I did! The breakfast menu had your typical traditional all-american breakfast foods on it, which is exactly what I prefer. Rose's is a wonderful little treasure that is popular with locals and visitors alike. So glad somebody told us about this place! It is our go-to spot for breakfast wherever we are in the area. We've also enjoyed their lunch menu several times with great results. The food is good, the portions are generous, the prices are affordable and the service is always exceptional. They are usually pretty busy, so be patient if there is a short wait. It's worth it?
