As a local, I've been coming to the roost for a couple years, and it was my favorite stop. Then the pub closed down after a fight between owners and staff, where the entire staff walked out. I was so excited to see them reopen after about seven months, but devastated when the food, atmosphere, and service had all changed. My husband and I fell in love with The Roost! As a person who has gluten allergies, they bent over backwards to make sure I had a good experience. The food was amazing. The service was out of this world. The atmosphere is welcoming. I highly suggest anyone going into Wellsboro to seek out The Roost and eat there. You won't go wrong.

We went on a Sunday when everything in town was closed- but thankfully they were open and had fun going on! There was free bingo! I got a peanut butter cup martini and it was AMAZING. The wings were great and so were the fried cauliflower and sweet potato puffs! Def would go again
