My family enjoyed the restaurant! We stopped by visiting my cousin in college at West Chester told us about it and took us there. He said the line is normally wrapped around at night time. We went at around 1pm on a Saturday and there was no wait, we seating upon walking in. The downside, there was no changing tables in the restroom to change my toddler. Other than that, we had a great time. The staff were nice and helpful, and the wait for food wasn't terrible either.

idk why the menu says a cheesesteak is $10 when it is now $14. i know when i came in here a few months ago it was around $10 - so why the $4 price jack up? thats insane, i used to love getting food from here but this is egregious bro. again, love this place don’t get me wrong, but this is a big one for me i just don’t get this

If I could give zero stars, I would. The manager is an angry, rude man and is on a huge, aggressive power trip. I gave him my ID that was REAL and a physical form of Identification (I’m over 21 and have been going to this bar for years) and he still turned me down. I tried telling him it was real but he didn’t care. I didn’t want to get the cops involved but this place is managed terribly and should reconsider who they put in charge. This is an extremely unattractive way to run a business. I’m never going here again and will turn anyone away who shows interest in providing business to this joke of a business!

the manager of this joint is a shister. the local "deal" of %20 off while staying at the Hotel Warner is Fake. every time I have come here the waitress is sent to "speak to the manager" about the discount, and every time is met with a reason why the discount will not apply. the food was mediocre, and the staff was fine. The problem is the manager and creating a trap of a fake discount of 20%. They should include a notice about why you cannot actually get this discount. Do not go here. There are SO many better restaurants in this area that are so much better for your wallet, stomach, and mind. Fuck this place.

Awesome atmosphere it is a must-see. I do believe it has 8+ separate bars (including the hidden/ secret bar area. The building is 112 years old, and the craftsmanship is amazing, but not a true Irish pub if that's what you are looking for.Parking: Parking garage right across the street.

My friend has a medical issue where she has random flare ups and must reach a restroom. She did try to use the roped off bathroom in the front but it was an emergency (the other bathroom lines were wrapped around the corner) The short bouncer then PUT HIS HANDS ON HER after he said she can't use that one. She said I am sorry and I have an emergency (her condition does not allow her to drink much either so she was not drunk) and he did not care. He put his hands on her and dragged her out of the bar. It caused a scene and embarrassed my friend for something she cannot control. Never acceptable when someone is being compliant. She was very understanding that she did break a rule and tried to explain but they used force instead of their words. Another bald bouncer assisted in the physical act of dragging her. Were they not trained? I am so disappointed with the character and actions of the young men that are employed here. Barnaby's is the heart of West Chester and have always enjoyed visiting the establishment when I was in town. Not any more. As a woman, I no longer feel safe for the bouncers to not touch me!

Consistent food and service, good burgers, cozy ambiance all come together for a great experience. Parking garage across the street makes life easy and avoids the drive around looking for a parking spot.
Excellent food. Great spot- prices are very reasonable, especially during happy hour ($5 house wines, $6 cocktails.) Enough for leftovers! College crowds at the bar during later hours but the back rooms are cozy and quieter and appropriate for a family dinner. Lots of options on the menu and all food ordered was delicious. Would highly recommend!
