Barnaby’s is a versatile restaurant that offers a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, making it a popular spot for various occasions. Guests appreciate the good service and helpful staff, especially during busy times or special events like birthdays and wedding rehearsal dinners. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring that guests feel cared for, even when challenges like power outages occur.
The menu features a variety of tasty options, including sandwiches, soups, and bar food favorites. Notable dishes include the French dip, honey Dijon wrap, spinach flatbread, and fish tacos, which many customers describe as very good or the best they’ve had. The Tuscan chicken sandwich is also enjoyed, despite some minor overcooking. Guests often praise the generous portions and great fries.
Barnaby’s is also known for its Sunday specials, with discounted sandwiches and excellent soups like potato and French onion. The ambiance is relaxed, making it a good place for lunch or casual dining. The restaurant sometimes hosts events, but visitors note that communication can be inconsistent during large parties or functions. For example, coordination around food and dessert service may be delayed or unclear.
In addition to dining, Barnaby’s transforms into a lively space for dancing and socializing, featuring three rooms with different vibes and music. The main dance floor gets crowded but offers great music, and there’s a lounge with TVs for relaxing. Security is visible, ensuring a safe environment for weekend dance nights.
Overall, Barnaby’s is a solid choice for good food, friendly service, and fun events, though some improvements in event coordination could enhance the experience.
